Though Ren Weimin's words sounded reasonable, though Qin Guo understood and agreed to his words about Shao Rong, she did not show that on her surface.

Instead she raised her hand to signal him to stop speaking any further and glared at him, "Are you so big now that you can lecture your mother? Don't forget that I am your elder and you should listen to me, not the other way round. Do you understand?"

Usually whenever Qin Guo said these words, Ren Weimin would bend his head to meekly nod and say "Yes Mother."

But today he did not say as she had expected. Instead he firmly shook his head to say, "No mother. You are an elder but that doesn't always make you right. I respect you but that doesn't mean whatever you say is really right and I should listen to you."

Qin Guo's eyes widened in shock to see her obedient son to rebel this way. She had never once expected him to look straight at her eyes or talk back at her yet here he was really doing that.
