"Kan'na!"
Akiol ran up next to her, "You know where Nimin went?"
Kan'na shook her head, "Trying to trace any hints of his mana, but it doesn't seem like he used any Skills. . ."
"He didn't use any Skills?"
'I can feel Glint not too far from us!' -Stars
"Can you lead us?"
'I can try!'
"Alright, I think we got a lead Kan'na."
"Lead the way then."
~ ~ ~
Glint was glowing brightly, 'What did you do to him?!'
Perina rose an eyebrow, "I merely showed him the consequences of his actions. This pointless war he decided to start, all for something so small?"
'Of course you think it's something small! You wipe away people's hard work without blinking for your own selfish purpose!'
"Rule of the jungle. I have a feeling you aren't understanding this."
'It's convenient how you make that excuse! Who cares if you have strength?!'
"Enough, I've already heard it all. Your words will not convince me."
Perina walked towards Nimin, "Honestly it's such a shame. He was by far the strongest First Star I had ever seen. Perhaps it was due to him being your wielder, but I doubt it. He's an incredible talent, someone who could've prospered greatly under my rule."
'You were trying to absorb him, don't spout lies!'
"This is true, I desire to still rise a Star after all. No matter, I will find the final piece to the puzzle soon enough."
Grabbing Nimin's face she inspected it. It looked like he was in a trance, his eyes dull. Once she was satisfied she let go and raised her hand. A mystical pink energy began to form, "It's a shame you insist things must end this way Nimin. Goodbye."
'Nimin wake up!'
Perina swung her hand, the energy beginning to spike as it traveled. As it traveled halfway, her hand was struck by a mysterious silver energy. Pausing her attack she turned to the side, "Oh? You finished her so soon?"
Akiol walked forward, picking up Nimin he tossed him behind, "Kan'na."
The purple haired sorceress caught the flying Nimin, "Illusion magic, it will take a moment to unravel it."
"Bold of you to think you'll last long enough to do so.", Perina taunted.
Akiol pointed his sword, "The goings of this continent should not be of my concern. Yet seeing your rule, and those who suffered underneath you. . ."
"Cut it short, I've heard it all already."
Akiol stopped his sentence, it was clear words would have no effect anymore. So instead he held a stance, "Just prepare yourself."
"You Second Stars have grown drunk on power, you really think you can stand up to me?"
Akiol didn't reply, instead he used Stars' Berserk Skill. As the power filled his body the visual effect of the Skill underwent a small change. The spikes on the circles behind, and above, him detached and hovered around the circles. As if being freed from a prison. This change wasn't purely visual, it also signified a boost of the Skill's ability. The power granted from it became greater.
"Amusing, this power is on par with one of the Spears. However-"
Perina's words were cut short, for the same energy that stopped her earlier attack suddenly erupted. The power it radiated began to damage the walls, cracks forming on the stone. Dust falling from the ceiling. She could feel it, the strange power Akiol was emitting wasn't as trivial as she thought it would be. It was dangerous.
~ ~ ~
Kan'na frowned, the illusion magic Nimin was effected by directly attacked his mind. This was tied with his mental state, heightening the effects of the illusion. If she were to directly dispel it she might cause irreparable damage to Nimin.
This didn't mean she was completely helpless, there was still an option. She would have to willingly enter the illusion and help Nimin from within. This however would put her physical body at risk, and entering an illusion could be risky.
So she quickly weighed her options, she could either hope Nimin was capable of breaking it herself. Or risk helping him.
A quick glance at Akiol told her the answer. The power boost Akiol received may not be enough to fight a Third Stage opponent. They would need all the help they could get. Nimin was certainly no common fighter either, even Akiol praised his ability. Such help would be of great assistance, perhaps even needed.
The magic circles hovering over her eye began to fade. She had to act fast while she could still see the instructions behind the spell. Quickly outstretching her hands she placed one on the floor and began to create a Six-Point Formation. With her other hand she began to create several magic circles. If any high ranking Sorcerer saw this, they would be astonished. To simultaneously use two complicated magic languages was no easy feat.
The Formation and magic circles began to glow and Kan'na slumped over. Her vision warped and her surroundings began to change rapidly. As voices entered her head she ignored them and searched around. Soon she found Nimin kneeling next to a dying soldier, apologetic words spewing forth.
She ran up to him, "Nimin!"
He looked up surprised, "Kan'na? What are you doing-?"
"No time to explain, you're in an illusion. We have to break free of this."
"I already know where we are. A place full of death, and more."
Kan'na frowned, the voices in her head grew louder. She already identified what the illusion's goal was. It was to break a fighting spirit, however something like this would only work on a kind soul. She sighed, it was for reasons like these that the Hero from her past world had their negative emotions sealed away. The inability to feel guilt was both a blessing and a curse.
"Look, this is too late to change. Mourning the fallen is not to come just yet. The players are here too, the very people you wished to free. The very people you called upon to help for this cause. Perina forced them into this war, something you're very aware of. Everything that's happening here is not your fault. Snap out of it."
"If I didn't fight though, they wouldn't have to suffer."
"That's where you're wrong Nimin. They were already suffering, under a tyrants rule. Forced to fight, I saw it while pushing towards the castle. Their unwillingness to stop the citizens. They were forced to take control of their friends and families. All because Perina is insistent upon her iron grip of a rule. You're fighting for a good purpose, and you have people behind you to back that up."
"Like Nemmy and Hundred? They switched sides, how can I trust you guys too?"
Kan'na frowned, she had no time for this. She swiped her hand across and two magic circles appeared, "Look!"
The scenery changed and Nimin found himself in the room with Perina again. He looked only to Akiol fighting incredibly hard against Perina. The room in the castle essentially falling apart from their battle.
Kan'na pointed, "Does this look like someone who abandoned you?! He's putting more on the line than he needs to. The situation of a foreign continent would have nothing to do with him. However Perina's actions, and your determination drove him to help! Where is the same Nimin that charged headfirst when Wrock was about to be absorbed?"
"I-"
"The same Nimin who spent all this time organizing a revolution? The same who riled up the fighting spirit of the players? The same one who swore to take Perina down?"
"I-!"
"Wake up! Your enemy is right there and you're concerning yourself with things that aren't as important!"
"I-!!"
"Wake up!"
~ ~ ~
Akiol blocked an incoming spell and slid backwards, he clicked his tongue. It was ridiculous. Despite his boost with Aura, the Berserk Skill, and his link with an Upper Four Sword and Dragon, he was unable to overwhelm a Third Stage!
Is the limit between Stages this ridiculous? Despite all his effort was he still unable to overcome a difference? Will he never be able to fight against something a higher Stage when it matters most?
Gritting his teeth he poured more Aura into Stars. Leaping forward he swung his sword towards Perina!
{Cataclysm Technique: Tidal Wave}!
A wave of Aura shot forth and crashed into Perina, yet failed to get past her magic barrier. As Stars made contact with the barrier a small blackhole formed at the tip and began absorbing the magic. Akiol swung diagonally and ripped the barrier apart. Perina immediately retreated upon seeing her barrier be destroyed. As she jumped back she threw her hands forward, a wave of pink energy being sent forwards.
Akiol dashed to the side, afterimages following his path. Perina watched his movements and formed a seal with her hands, "Heed my cry! [Chains Ever Unbroken]!"
Several chains formed above Perina and shot forward, their ends having a hook attached to them. Akiol began deflecting many with his sword, but soon found there to be far more than he could handle. He immediately shifted his footwork and moved within a circular area, Aura surging and swirling.
{Cataclysm Technique: Vortex}!
As the chains began to hit the vortex they were rapidly overtaken in the flow of the technique. Akiol suddenly stopped the technique and all the chains flew in one direction. They hit a wall as they flew, causing it to collapse. Past the thick wall was the outside, a fresh breeze entering uninvited.
Perina held her hands up, pink energy swirling around them, "There's no feasible way someone of your caliber escaped my network. Talent and power such as this is not easy to hide."
"It seems like you cannot reach the ends of the world."
"You choose to remain silent in the end? Very well! Let's see how you handle this!"
Perina leapt outside, clothes fluttering from the force keeping her afloat. She raised a hand as she flew higher into the air, out of Akiol's immediate reach, "I'll kill everyone in this building! Answer my call! Fall upon my enemies and deliver righteous justice! [Judge's Wrath]!"
The clouds above suddenly parted, a hammer made of a white energy formed above. It's size was greater than the castle, once it fully formed it descended upon the castle. Akiol saw it's overwhelming size and frowned, he wasn't able to stop it in time!
'I won't be able to absorb that! It's simply too powerful for us to handle right now!'
"I'm not sure if I can destroy it either."
Akiol had no time to strategize, he needed to act now. He leapt upwards, using Mana to form steps in the air. As he grew closer a realization came forth. There was no way to stop this alone!
Then buy time! Akiol swung towards the hammer and a blackhole formed between the two.
'I said I won't be able to absorb it!'
"I just need you to remove as much as you can!"
'I will try!'
His body began to bend, it clearly wasn't enough. Although the descent was slow, it was powerful. He reformed new footholds as he pushed back with all his might, he couldn't let it fall! The damage would spread to the outside of the castle walls, wiping out most of the player forces along with Perina's soldiers.
The blackhole vanished, increasing the pressure onto Akiol. Stars apologized, 'I can't do anything!'
"You're good! We bought a little bit of time! We just need a little more-!"
A flash of light appeared at the castle, it began to streak upwards and clash into the hammer. Akiol looked over and saw Nimin pushing against the attack, the pair of wings on his back glowing brightly. Nimin looked back and shouted, "I'm here! We'll stop this together!"
"Glad to have you back!"
Although Nimin's power was great, it wasn't enough! Together they only managed to slow the descent of the hammer by a bit. It was still descending towards the castle steadily! As Akiol reformed his footholds he felt a blast of mana come from behind.
Kan'na was at the bottom! She formed the obliteration cannon she had used long ago and shot it towards the hammer. As the attack clashed it also pushed against it. The three together managed to push it to a stop!
Perina's eyes widened, "Impossible!"
She flew into the air above the hammer and began to push against it as well, increasing the force at which the hammer descended. Akiol and Nimin continued to push, desperate to stop it!
Players and NPCs from below all realized what was occurring, soon enough they began to retreat. Desperate to flee the incoming attack. The soldiers inside the castle walls all watch with bitterness in their hearts. Even though they sacrificed so much, even if they were obedient until the end, they still were sacrificed like pawns. Useless in the eyes of Perina.
Nimin understood the catastrophe that would occur if the hammer were to fall. The damage would kill many. He simply couldn't let that happen!
"Break it!!", he shouted.
Kan'na increase the output of the obliteration cannon with more magic circles, the beam's size doubled and slammed into the hammer with extra force. Akiol's Aura spiked as he put every fiber of his being into breaking the hammer. Glint began to glow brighter, creating a light bright enough to illuminate the castle below.
""Haaaa!""
Crrck-!
Cracks formed on the hammer, spreading rapidly. The hammer stopped completely and shattered, the pieces falling and vanishing before they hit the ground. Perina watched in shock as her mighty hammer was destroyed by mere Second Stars. Anger filled her heart, why couldn't they just die?! Why must they stop her from ascending?!
Perina's roar filled the area, "You worms! I'll end it here!"
Akiol dashed forward, the distance between them was great. Even with his speed, it was greatly reduced in the air. Considering he had to focus to create a decent foothold. Nimin on the other hand was significantly faster, he shot forward. Those watching from below saw a shooting star head towards Perina. He raised his spear and aimed for her heart!
Raising a hand she stopped the spear with ease, "I see that Sorcerer freed you from my little spell Nimin. However despite it all you still can't fight against me."
"I'm not alone this time!"
Akiol came from above swinging downwards, a powerful blow striking against Perina. It interrupted her flight and she was sent spiraling towards the ground.
{Cataclysm Technique: Thunder}!
"Nice one Akiol!"
"Focus! Don't let her recover!"
Akiol began to fall down as well, Aura flying behind as he dropped. Nimin nodded to himself, "Let's do this Glint!"
'You got it!' -Glint
The spear began to glow brightly, and Nimin shot downwards. A bright light rapidly descending, illuminating the entire castle and up to the walls.
[Fallen Star]!
Akiol noticed Nimin's move and decided to synchronize with him. The two descended, light and silver Aura intertwining. Stars began to gleam, as foreign energy leaked from him. The evolved Berserk Skill didn't come only with boost in its strengthening ability, but it also came with an ultimate move: [Spacial Collapsion]!
Skill Synchronization!
[Fallen Star]
+
[Spacial Collapsion]
Synced Skill!
«Collapsing Star»
The two weapons pierced through Perina's stomach, causing her to howl in pain. A blinding light suddenly shrank and exploded. Perina was suddenly covered in burns, showing the damage the Synced Skill did. She hissed and threatened, "You'll die for this!!"
Nimin retorted, "I told you! I told you that you'll feel more pain!"
A wave of pink energy pushed them away. The two flipped midair and landed with a slide.
Suddenly they guarded, needles of a pink energy shot towards them in the hundreds. Before they managed to get close to the two, a set of magic circles appeared in front of them and blocked the needles.
Kan'na floated down, her robe was covered in a layer of dense magic circles. She too had activated her Berserk Skill.
Hovering behind them Kan'na spoke, "Don't worry about her spells. I'll take care of them."
Nimin grinned, "Thank you Kan'na!"
Perina suddenly slammed her hand onto the castle. A wall shook and collapsed, making dust rise. Akiol swung and caused a billow of wind to blow the dust away. This revealed Perina drinking a liquid out of a bottle.
Both Akiol and Nimin reacted simultaneously. Nimin threw his Spear while Akiol charged forward!
As their attacks reached Perina they hit a pink barrier. Perina crushed the bottle in her hand and grinned, "Too late!"
Her wounds healed rapidly, clearly she drank some high tier health potion. Having their damage essentially erased, they were at a disadvantage again.
Perina swiped her hand and formed a wave of pink energy. However several magic circles appeared and caused its momentum to stop.
She clicked her tongue, "Another troublesome pest!"
Nimin teleported next to Glint and grabbed her, with a single fluid movement he stabbed towards Perina's neck. Akiol followed up with an attack towards her abdomen. Perina's barrier suddenly shook and shattered, having already understood the reason behind it she caught the two weapons heading towards her.
Kan'na suddenly formed two magic circles. They spun rapidly and small beams shot forward. She then narrowed her eyes, she needed to focus for the next one. Akiol and Nimin simultaneously let go of their weapons and punched Perina's face. She flinched in surprise, she hadn't expected warriors to abandon their weapon so easily.
She then tossed the weapons aside and charged forward, "You have one thing wrong!"
Glint flashed and teleported into Nimin's hand. Akiol used Mana to guide Stars back to his. They both raised their weapons and prepared to intercept Perina's next move.
She continued, "I! Am not a spellcaster!"
A large hammer materialized into her hands. It looked similar to the one that attempted to destroy the castle. The sudden reveal came shocking to the trio. The entire time they had been under the impression that Perina was a spellcaster, for she had never shown proper close combat skills.
Akiol dodged the incoming swing. Just by feeling the force from around the hammer he knew he wasn't going to survive a hit.
Perina spun with the hammer and threw it towards Nimin. He wasn't able to dodge in time, and his teleport Skill was on cooldown. As he raised Glint to dodge he felt like a truck had hit him. He was pushed far back, and nearly crushed by the hammer.
The hammer lifted and returned to Perina's hand. She spun and swung towards Akiol. With a leap Akiol dodged it and prepared to strike back. Yet Perina merely spun again and lifted the hammer higher. It was troublesome, the sudden change in fighting style was enough to throw off even the top of experts. While Akiol was certainly extremely skilled, he was not omniscient.
Forming a platform of mana would take concentration and time, the latter of the two he did not have. Stars' Skill was on cooldown so he couldn't absorb the force behind the attack. Additionally blocking was not an option, who knew what damage he would receive.
That left him with three options, force himself out of the way using a burst of Aura. Attempt to redirect the attack. Or manipulate his body to reduce the amount of damage taken. Having only a fraction of a second to decide, Akiol swung Stars towards the hammer. The two weapons clashed and Akiol successfully redirected some of the force behind the attack. However he was hit with the rest.
He flew back and crashed into the rubble of the castle. Feeling his body grow weaker he knew the attack dealt an insane amount of damage.
Still he stood up, "Nimin! Synchronize with Glint, it's our only hope!"
Nimin had also gotten up and frowned, "What?"
'He's right! If we can successfully synchronize, we'll obtain power that could take down Perina!'
"Why didn't you say anything about this before?"
'Stars informed me about it! However it's incredibly difficult, but it could just work!'
"Then let's try it!"
'Focus!'
Kan'na heard the exchange and understood what needed to happen. She then release a Magic Concatenation, it's odd shape made it look like a series of gears working together. As it spun the area around Perina began to dull in color. Her movements turned slower, as if moving through mud.
"What a great success.", Kan'na murmured to herself.
Kan'na had managed to slow time! Thanks to her constant contact with time manipulation, she was able to grasp the concept behind it. Paired together with her War Sight, she was able to create a powerful Magic Concatenation that was capable of altering the flow of time.
Normally she wouldn't alter time at all, too much manipulation could offset the timeline and cause inconsistencies. However a bit of slowing wouldn't cause too much damage, and any it did would be repaired naturally.
Akiol rubbed his head, suddenly the powerful Aura he had been releasing cut short. A faint pain blossomed in his chest, "Used too much Aura. What bad timing. . . ."
'You're out of Aura?! What are we supposed to do now?!'
"Perina should realize that something isn't right soon. I'm recovering what little Aura I can. It's not going to be enough to keep fighting however."
'My power is running out soon too.'
Perina's movements turned weird, suddenly the hammer exited the slowed time area. The speed returned to normal and Akiol reacted subconsciously. The hammer blasted away the entirety of Akiol's right side.
The hammer proceeded to shatter several walls of the castle. Leaving a series of holes to see through.
Suddenly a familiar face appeared through one of these holes, "That nearly hit me!"
Wrock slipped through the newly formed entrance and exit. Appearing at the battlefield he looked at Akiol, "What did you buy?"
"My life."
"Got quite a deal then, an arm for a life?"
The slime was too far apart to return to Akiol. He frowned and manipulated his body to form another arm and side. Although he wasn't capable of producing extra slime, he was able to thin the quality of his current slime.
It made him lighter, but was uncomfortable and odd to adjust too. Like if a human suddenly lost 20 pounds of weight instantly. (About 9 Kilos).
Akiol moved his arm to adjust, "How are you faring?"
"Horribly, I'm low on HP and Spirit. I don't think I'll be of much help this battle."
"We're in the same position."
Wrock sucked in a cold breath of air, "This is quite the trouble. Should we call the others?"
"No, Nimin will finish things."
"Ah, so you're suggesting we do that?"
"Yep, I'm sure Kan'na will get the message too."
"How long will Perina last in that?"
"I have a feeling she'll break free."
"We're going to get bullied here in a moment."
"We'll manage."
Perina finally managed to exit the slowed time area. She raised her hand and the massive hammer returned to her. Resting it on her shoulder she spoke, "How annoying, slowing my down with such troublesome spells."
She looked towards Akiol and Wrock, "Oh? I fail to sense the energy coming from you. It seems like you won't last much longer. Very well I'll finish both of you off."
Akiol took a breath, "Stars, forgive me."
'What? What are you doing?'
Akiol took off the sheath and placed Stars into it. He then placed the sheath onto the ground, "I'll make it out of this alive. But I can't be focusing on you too."
'What?! Why are you doing this?!'
Givale's voice breached the link, 'What's going on?!'
Akiol blocked them out, instead he focused purely on Perina. Lifting his hands into a stance he steeled himself. Wrock mirrored the stance, the two stood side by side. If it wasn't for the different in appearance, the way they mimicked each other could almost convince someone that they were reflections.
Kan'na watched the two and suddenly realized, "You're going to bet everything on Nimin? If you say so!"
Perina watched them in interest, "The power you gained is weaker than before. Yet you abandoned your weapons?"
Perina scrutinized Wrock, "I assume you dealt with Grimwald as well. I am well aware of his ability, you certainly are no where near top shape."
She shook her head, "Merely a last stand. Although I am impressed that you made it this far. Now die."
Perina jumped forward and swung her hammer downwards. Akiol and Wrock moved simultaneously, dodging the hammer by a hair.
Not too perturbed by the dodge, Perina merely lifted the hammer and swung it. Wrock grabbed Akiol's arm and pulled him. The sudden tug bent Akiol enough to dodge the next attack. Yet that wasn't all.
Akiol kicked Perina's leg, although without his extensive buffs it didn't do much. Despite this Perina was slightly confused. What kind of show were they trying to put on? As she raised her hammer again the two reacted. Linking an arm Wrock jumped and kicked towards Perina's jaw. She leaned back and dodged it easily, but still failed to guess their intentions.
Wrock landed and moved Akiol. As Akiol was thrown forward he kicked towards Perina. She blocked the kick with her arm, "What are you two getting at?!"
She swung diagonally. As Akiol fell to the ground he pulled Wrock back with him. Wrock leaned back and dodged the hammer, though the hairs on his nose got brushed. As he leaned back he delivered a swift punch towards Perina's jaw.
This ridiculous process was something Akiol and Wrock could only do on their last leg. It was the product of their years of battle experience together, a product of their trust.
The way it worked was by dividing the focus of battle. One would focus more on the defensive and the other would focus on the offensive. Such a task was only possible if you had full faith in the abilities of the other.
Akiol and Wrock took this a step further by constantly changing who was in charge of what. This process was done fluidly, and only added to the level of complexity of the technique. By adjusting each other's movements, they are capable of fighting further despite being physically and mentally exhausted.
Akiol had put down Stars for a reason, holding a weapon complicated the process of the technique unnecessarily. It was much more efficient to attack with their own hands and feet. However this type of fighting had a major weakness, it's offensive might was basically nonexistent! This type of fighting was meant to do nothing more than buy time!
Perina suddenly realized she was too concerned with the actions of the two. She was about to swing rapidly to finish them off, when suddenly the surroundings changed.
It turned almost pure white, grey statues surrounded the border. All of them in a praying position. Above the area was a blinding yellow light. It was shaped like a diamond and emitted a ringing whine.
Nimin's figure could be spotted under the light. He was covered in a set of brilliant gold armor. A crown set upon his head.
As he descended it became apparent that the wings on his back evolved too. It seemed to be armored as well, plates of gold covered the joint areas. Despite them being made of light.
Nimin spoke, "Thank you, all of you. With this I can finally end things."
Perina sneered, "As if, you hardly did anything to me!"
Perina threw her hammer. Nimin spun his spear and knocked it away, stunning Perina. Suddenly three flashes of golden light appeared on Perina. Once they faded they revealed gruesome wounds.
Clutching the wounds Perina shouted in confusion, "What did you do?! You weren't like this before!"
"That doesn't matter. You die today."
"NO!"
A wave of pink energy erupted from Perina. A powerful force began to leak from every pore.
Akiol's eyes widened, "She's trying to forcefully ascend to Fourth Stage! Stop her!"
Nimin dashed forward, but the wave of pink energy was too strong.
Kan'na shouted from the back, "It's not something I can stop! You have to finish this!"
Nimin was pushed back by the energy, "I can't! It's too strong!"
'Nimin! Use everything you have! We can't let her ascend!'
Nimin grit his teeth, "Try to provide an opening!"
He leapt into the air, clenching Glint. The spear began to glow brightly.
Akiol and Wrock glanced at each other. A slight nod exchange and they charged forward. Akiol erupted with Aura, pouring the last bit he had. Wrock used {Arising of the Phoenix}, doing similarly to Akiol.
Kan'na slapped her hands together, a massive magic circle began to spin and glow. Another magic circle formed underneath Perina, and several ghost-like hands reach upwards, gripping Perina.
Akiol and Wrock channeled their last bit of Aura and Spirit to their fists. They punched together and the two energies erupted. A whirlpool of silver Aura and light blue Spirit formed, pushing away the pink mist.
"I'll finish this!", Nimin shouted.
Glint flashed and Nimin descended towards Perina. As he fell Glint underwent a slight change, the blade tip was suddenly enlarged with yellow light. A streak of light followed Nimin's path.

«Omen of Fate Changing»
"This is everything Perina! My rage, my fear, and my sorrow! This! Is an omen! An omen to change our fate!"
Nimin's spear pierced Perina's heart. A bright light expanded across the city. The light engulfed even the Guilds and Army outside the walls. The light lingered for a few seconds before shattering. Shards of light sprinkled the battlefield, and everyone stopped fighting for a moment to witness it.
Perina's eruption of energy stopped. Her face was blank, and her eyes dull. Nimin freed his spear and Perina slumped to the ground.
The area around them returned to normal. The armor on Nimin vanished as he collapsed, "It's. . . over!!"
Akiol looked to the sky, the shards of remaining light looked like fireflies decorating the sky. It had already turned night, further adding to the beauty. They had won.
Nimin laughed suddenly, "It's finally over! Hahaha!"
Wrock chuckled, "Don't go crazy."
Kan'na walked over, "Goodness, let's not fight another Third Stage anytime soon."
There was a unanimous agreement. This level of fighting was something no one wanted to get used to.
Akiol sighed, then frowned. Squinting his eyes he scrutinized the night sky, "Wait, who's that?"
The others looked at Akiol, then followed his gaze. Slowly descending towards them was an unknown figure. Suddenly a force of power pushed them to the ground and prevented them from moving.
The figure landed and walked to Perina, "Ah, to think you'd fall here. To some mere Second Star fighters."
Nimin's face showed nothing but shock, "It can't be! The rumors are true?!"
Akiol grit his teeth as he struggled, "What rumors?!"
"That someone was backing Perina!"
Despair filled Nimin, "That guy is a genuine Fourth Star!"
