"You stubborn idiot!" LiangLin had been trying to wriggle out of XueYa's hold ever since entering the palace, but XueYa's iron grip didn't give in.

So stuck in his ways, XueYa carried his beloved all the way to their temporary home, up the few stone steps and inside the house.

Even when they entered their sleeping quarters, XueYa wasn't willing to let go of LiangLin. He manoeuvred the snake god in his arms in a way that as soon as LiangLin's ass hit the bed; he was pinned down with nowhere to run.

"You- XueYa!" LiangLin grumbled as he laid spread out beneath XueYa, cheeks burning an alluring shade of crimson as his hands were pinned down on either side of his head.

His chest rose in tune with his excited breathing, and XueYa hummed, pleased to see his beloved was in the mood even though he wasn't admitting it.
