Tang Yue pictured herself as a vortex with a powerful suction force and tried to actively draw in the strings of black souls.

Time ticked by slowly but there was absolutely no change in anything at all.

The thin almost invisible strings still steadily flowed into her without any disruption. 

However, they didn't increase or decrease in volume.

Tang Yue sighed. 

Her soul strength was steadily increasing so at least she was gaining something but this seemed anti-climatic considering the elaborate undead beast hordes and even an epic-grade beast acting as a guardian. 

Surely, something more has to be here! Her eyes then fell on the last white crystal orb.

"Might as well pop that!" Tang Yue hissed and slithered closer to it.

She slowly started coiling herself around the white orb as well, but suddenly a bright blinding light flashed.
