"Wake up baby," I hear Darrien's voice and it is like music to my ears. My eyes flutter open and I see him standing above me on the bed. His eyes are bright and there is a smile on his face. 

"Hi," I stretch my arms out and they go around his neck.

He pulls me up and I am sitting on his lap. The way he looks at me it is like he can see through me and into my soul "Aren't you going to get up and get ready for school?'' he asks me with a smile on my face. I open my eyes wide from shock because I totally forgot that today was the first day back. 

"Oh shoot,'' I jump off him and his laugh travels through the room. I run to my closet and grab the first outfit I see which is plain blue jeans and a polo shirt. I run back into the room and he is still on the bed with his eyes watching me. There is a smile on his face, he is totally amused right now.
