章節 342: Just two days

I wake up in the morning to a knock on my door. Slowly turning, I see that they are both still asleep. The smile that comes up to my face is instinctual. Gyles has Rex in an embrace, it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I get up from the bed, so as not to wake them.  I put on. A fresh pair of boxers and walk over to the door. The person on the other side of the door is new, someone I don't know.

"The elders are ready to see you,'' he manages in a cold voice. I don't know who he is but it seems like he knows me. I take a deep breath and close the door. I know where I am supposed to meet them. they probably sent him to call me. the second I turn around, I see Gyles, awake and staring at me.

I place my index finger on my lips. I don't want him to wake Rex up. I want Rex not to be involved in this. I want him to just relax until we can get out of here.
