[Johan's POV]

Johan pulled Adrian's beige jacket closer to himself, seeking the trace of comfort from the silky underside of the cloth. After Rhia called Adrian through his sister's number, and the word 'Babe' escaped Adrian's lips to address his supposed ex-girlfriend, Johan instantly knew Adrian lied about their break-up. His body language said it all.

A whiff of Adrian's perfume brought fresh tears to his eyes. A mixture of negative emotions spiraled inside his chest and clashed with his desire to be in Adrian's arms. He regretted kicking him out of his apartment, but he felt too betrayed he needed a space away from Adrian before he could do something unthinkable.

Johan hiccuped through his sob. His anger overflowed to the point he uttered words he knew would hurt Adrian. He had stalked him on social media enough to know he wanted to have a family someday. Those cute baby photos he kept sharing were his proof.
