Bronwyn had no trouble finding the building she was looking for. She had already been there with that irritating busybody, Sun, earlier in the day looking for medicine for the Horizon. The hospital clinic was well stocked, but they were unable to take everything with them in one trip.
Bronwyn found herself gazing at the carton full of drugs in longing while Sun piled case after hypo after box into the containers they were using for transport. It wasn't hard to secret a few choice selections with names she recognized into a quiet place for later.
And it was so later. She rifled through the drawer she used, her flashlight shaking in her urgency, turning up two full bottles of her favorites. She fumbled the first one, wincing as the plastic bottle rattled to the floor.
How rustic, she thought as she crouched and forced the top open, examining the contents.
