During this week that Nile was sleeping, Jellan and Nile's other pets constantly patrolled the area. They would kill every zombie they spot and would try to avoid killing hybrids as far as possible. It was because unlike zombies, the hybrids are united and if someone is missing, it would surely be investigated, and such actions might result in exposing their whereabouts to the hybrids. 

Jellan wanted to avoid such a scenario as much as possible. She was still worried that it might affect Nile's evolution. 

On the other hand, the other kids had already mostly returned to being energetic. Although there was still gloominess around them, it was no longer as bad as before. Nalyn on the other hand was also already healed due to the Java Fruit that Jellan and the others constantly harvested.
