Even though Ava could see that both of them are at fault, she believed that they also should be talked to and listened to because it is human nature to regret and feel bad afterwards.

Like what she saw before, just because they did something wrong, doesn't mean that they are not allowed to learn something from it.

Experience is indeed the best teacher. No matter how bad or grave the mistake is, it depends on the person whether they learn something good or bad from it.
