"What?"

What Devin said had caught her off guard, silencing her in an instant.

The Soul Eater then seriously looked at her, repeating what he said to make it clear for Angeal to understand what he meant. 

"Why not think of us... and turn it into a story?"

Angeal blinked her eyes a few times, not expecting what he said. Her eyes slightly widened, her mouth slightly agape--a reflection of her surprise. 

"Y-you want me to make a story about us?"

Devin raised his brow, wondering why Angeal seemed flustered about it. When it finally dawned on him that Angeal was clueless and that she might think differently, that's when his eyes also widened.

Now he realized what he said. To Angeal, she may have thought that she would make a love story about him and her. 

Devin may be embarrassed about the idea. However, deep down, he liked the thought that they would be together, at least in the story that she would make.
