"Aargh!"

Shadow screamed out loud as he sat up, removing the blanket that covered him. He panted as cold sweat trickled on his body as if he had run a hundred miles.

"A dream," he mumbled to himself, "I had a bad dream."

His breathing started to slow down when he remembered where he left off from the dream. It was when Ava had killed Morgana in front of him. 

His dream did not show him what had happened next, but he remembered it as if it were yesterday. 

When he got the courage to leave Morgana's office, he had immediately left the room with the use of his magic as he trembled in fear before Ava. 

A few minutes after he got home, however, there was a knock on his door. The moment he opened it, he shouted when he saw the bloodied jar with Morgana's sliced body in it. 

Ava was not around, but he heard her maniac laugh as he ran back inside his house and locked himself up in his room to escape from her wrath.
