章節 142: Hide And Seek

I don't agree with sitting back and waiting but I was grateful for the chance to clear my head. Everything I just saw will have to be put on hold and dealt with later. There's a reason I was just shown all that, now I need to find out why.

I hear snapping again but this time it's off to the left. I narrow my eyes, trying to listen for any other sounds but when I don't hear any, my nails begin to grow. I keep my eyes in the direction of the sound before silently dropping from the tree. 

I land in a low crouch without a sound. I quickly look around before standing up and slowly walking over. As I walk, I glance around the woods. Because of the cooler temperatures, most of the trees were bare, making it easier to see.
