章節 121: Breathe In

The next day I wake up to my parents giving me a 'stern' look. I give them a small knowing smile as I walk over to the table and sit down. After finding out that the poison was gone and that I had my voice back, they wouldn't stop with the looks. 

My mother puts a plate of eggs in front of me and says "Try to eat everything. I'll peel you an orange as well." My Dad sits down at the table while clearing his throat. He pulls his shirt down a little before looking up at me and saying "Your Mother and I think it'd be best if you stayed in the Oasis with the rest of us." 

I take a bite of my eggs while silently watching him struggle to be 'stern'. My Mom walks over and places the orange down in front of me before saying "You've been through so much already. We aren't trying to tell you what you should and shouldn't do it's just... we're worried."
