章節 152: It was to be

Su Wen ordered enough for a king's feast. Zhang Wang thought that the food laid out before him weighed at least double of himself. 

He didn't even know where to start and decided that it was best to simply keep a smile on his face and shower Su Wen with compliments when possible.

"Master Su sure has a wonderful establishment here," he chirped pleasantly as he accepted a piece of lotus root being handed over to him by Yu Yanlin.

Su Wen smiled and chuckled, "No, no. This place is actually owned by my cousin. I believe that you are acquainted with him, are you not?"

"Ah yeah," Zhang Wang shrugged, "But he's not the one keeping this place together now is he?"

"Young Master Zhang certainly has a way with words…" Su Wen raised a brow.

Zhang Wang laughed and offered to fill up their cups with alcohol to which everyone accepted with ease.

Pleasant banter continued before finally the important topic was laid out on the table.
