You're now 22 while I'm still 20.
More than 3 years already passed and I still look forward to your birthday;
More than 3 years already passed and I'm still writing a poem as your gift;
But with you going on and off on SNS while I'm meeting new people made me realized the things that I've kept on doing;
I was waiting for something that will never happen nor happen twice;
I was stuck within my memories of you that are now slowly fading;
I'm waiting to turn 21 but I was stuck with the idea of the 18 years old you;
But now, I'm deciding to bring this paradisiacal torture to its end.
You're now 22 while I'm still 20.
I'm still writing this poem but it's not for you, this time it's for me.
A reminder to myself that you were my inspiration and my motivation even though I got rejected by you almost 4 years ago;
Still, thank you, my muse, but now I already found someone new.
