章節 153: You Have To Stay Here

An hour into their UNO tournament the scoreboard was pretty diverse. Claire and Amara had two wins each, and Alex, Zoe, Lucas (at least she thought it was Lucas), and Nolan had one. 

It had been a while since she played this much UNO and she was getting a little sick of it but everyone else was enthralled by the spirit of the competition despite not being the slightest bit vocal about it. The little ones had fallen asleep on the couch watching their show so at least they got to turn that annoying background noise off. 

"I win," Ethan said emotionlessly as he set down his last card. "Add that to the scoreboard, Claire."

As the one who had proposed this tournament in the first place Claire had become the de facto person in charge. She didn't really mind though. She may be experiencing an UNO overload but she was happy to see everyone enjoying themselves. 

"Good job, Ethan! High five," she requested.
