There was a big hole on the ground beside them.

Ruther suspected that it was the work of the White Worms. The White Worms likely delivered the weapons to this enemy troops.

Rows of canyons were directed at them. However, the arrow that was shot at him did not come from them. It came from the trees.

Ruther looked around the trees.

An arrow canyon hoistened on a huge branch of the tall trees was directed at them. 

There were more of this. They were everywhere.

The canyon's muzzle was pointed at them and the people behind it already began firing.

Ruther recognized the arrows. His eyes were wide.

"Be careful! It is a cursed weapon!"

Before he finished his sentence, the enemy troops had already released the arrows.

Huge bolts of cursed arrows rose in the air, then down. Rows of arrows rained against the Avians, who gritted their teeth to maintain their whirlwind barrier.

This continued on for a while.
