章節 114: Impending Doom
- A Certain Room, Xuan Family Manor -
"Have you killed him yet?" a male voice asked quietly.
The man who spoke these words was Xuan Yang, current patriarch of the Xuan family. He was a vile man, able to abandon his morality completely in order to achieve what he wants.
"No, not yet," a second voice responded with a carefree tone.
This person was a powerful member of the Midnight Syndicate. His alias is Plague, but his true name remains unknown. He specializes in using poison to assassinate people, rather than cold steel. After forming a deal with Xuan Yang, he accepted the task to kill a certain 14-year-old boy.
"...Why haven't you? He's just a kid. Shouldn't be too hard for someone of your level, no?" Xuan Yang asked impatiently, evidently annoyed.

This chapter paved the way for the climax of this volume....oh, I take that back. It's kind of the climax, but then...ah, well, whatever, no use thinking about it now. I also don't want to spoil anything in terms of plot specifics, so I'll just stop there.
Anyway, I recently began watching Food Wars: The Fifth Plate...Shokugeki no Soma...I don't believe, if translating directly, that the English name really matches the Japanese one. Just me though. Either way, the season is pretty good so far. I know what happens since I read the manga, and I also think the BLUE arc was originally the worst one. However...the anime version of it seemed decent, actually. I hope it doesn't fall off later on.
