章節 25: House guests.
The next person I decided to visit was Luna she was excited to make friends she had been lonely for quite a while since her mother passed away a few years ago and her father drown himself in his magazine to forget the pain of his lost love. Luna has witnessed first hand her mother pass away due to spell damage. Not a pleasant thing to see.
So with all her fathers odd quirks she picked up quite a few herself which made her stand out from other people. But underneath all those quirks was just a little girl who wanted friends.
I knocked on her room door and she opened it with excitement. "Hello Ryan. Have you come to teach me occulmency like you said earlier?" She asks me with a big bright smile.
I just chuckle "nope I've just come to see how your doing and offer you some of my favorite butterscotch pudding and just chat." I say with a smile.
Her eyes light up at the mention of pudding and lock onto the big bowl I'm carrying. She pulls me inside her room and I make a table with a couple of chairs to sit in and offer her a spoon and we start digging into the pudding.
"So how are you liking the new house so far?" I ask the blonde girl as she happily devours the pudding. Looking around her room it's stuffed with all sorts of strange hand made items and pictures cut out from her fathers magazine the quibbler.
"It's exciting. I'm hoping everyone will be my friend and we can all play together. I'm just worried they will find me odd." She admits.
I pat her hand. "I'm sure we can all be friends and besides aren't we all a bit odd so don't worry about it. Besides we are all one big family now so we will all look out for each other." I say happily.
"Mm that sounds nice. I can teach everyone about the rotfang conspiracy and crumple horned snorkacks." She says happily.
"Speaking of crumple horned snorkacks I actually have a book of different kinds of them from different worlds would you like to see it?" I ask her pulling out the book.
Her eyes widen in shock reading the cover before she eagerly nods and I hand it over to her. This is a book with tons of different illustration and pictures of various kinds of crumpled horned snorkacks living in various different regions its kind of like an animal planet documentary book. It shows their eating habits mating rituals and all sorts of other information.
"Well don't forget to get your room set up and don't forget to come to dinner." I give the girl a warm needed hug she happily reciprocated and leave her to look over her new book.
Next on my list of people to visit would be the troublemaker. A clumsy metmorph with a bit of a balance problem. Which is usually caused by problems like whenever she walks her powers either elongate or shorten her legs whenever she takes a step or problems with ear drums making her balance unstable.
At this point however there's a warning from my wards as a creature tries to pop through. However it doesn't succeed. "Ah so the old man wizened up?" Dumbledore has tried to send fawkes to retrieve me. Which would have worked if I hadn't set up specialized anti Phoenix wards so they can't flame in and out of my home just in case. I had the same for elves that weren't mine. Mail redirection post which would be sent to the bank and patronuses.
Be prepared for everything and it's hard to be caught off guard.
I continued on my way to tonks room.
Before knocking I decided to play a prank I shifted my height and made my appearance look like her mother before knocking. She opened the door and I hit her with the.
"Nymphadora! Look at the state of your room how could you be so disrespectful in the home of your new husband I thought I taught you better!" Mimicking her mother's voice which I had met andromeda at the bank along with Ted Tonks nice couple.
She looked absolutely horrified and gobsmacked. "Mom what are you doing here?" She chokes out.
At this point I just laugh and shift back to my regular form confusing her even more. "Not the only metmorph around the house anymore pinky be prepared for pranks." I say tweaking her nose with a laugh. The pink haired girl looks at me in shock before clumsily trying to hit me which I evade.
"You idiot! You nearly scared my pants off i really though my mom was here to scold me!" She shouts still trying to hit me as I expertly dodge her.
I hit her with a tickling spell and she falls on the ground laughing. "Jerk wait til I get my hands on you!" She says inbetween laughter.
"Then what you'll trip and fall and I'll have to catch you? Sorry Nymphy I'll pass but don't forget to clean your room up and we are having chilli cheese fries for dinner so prepare to get messy." I say with a laugh before turning her completely pink and fleeing the room. Before she throws something at me.
Making my way to the most normal girl of the current lot the heiress of the bones family Susan. Her mother and father were killed during the war and she was adopted by her aunt. Amelia raised her properly to be the heiress of the bones family and taught her how to be fair and just if her aunt was anything to go by when she got older she would be a beauty. Right now she had a bit of baby fat still but was already a pretty girl and had beautiful long dark red hair.
I knocked on my next to last house guests room and waited for her to answer.
