章節 34: The Truth
"No, Chloe, don-" She grabbed Chloe by the waist and turned herself around so that they were facing each other. She quickly placed her lips on Chloe's. She could feel that the area around Chloe's mouth was wet with tears, as was hers. Chloe pulled away first and put her hands on Emily's. She started to pull them off of her waist, but hesitated.
She then simultaneously crashed her lips against Emily's, and wrapped Emily's hands tighter around her back, causing their bodies to collide.
Emily chuckled as the tears in her eyes dried, as did Chloe's.
"Why?" Chloe pulled away once more and stared into Emily's eyes.
"Because I think I love you too." She brought their foreheads together and whispered before hugging Chloe tightly. She snuggled her head into Chloe's shoulder and breathed in her lavender scent.
She could feel Chloe shaking while they embraced.
"Are you okay?" She sniffled.
"Chloe?"
She then felt Chloe's forehead on her shoulder, then heard her laughing quietly.
"Thank you." She mumbled, her arms wrapped around Emily's hips. "Thank you so much."
- - Later That Night In the Living Room - -
"Why didn't you leave?" Emily questioned, laying on Chloe's lap.
"I just managed to tell you that I'm in love you?"
"Yeah, but...You were perfectly fine with leaving before...What changed your mind?"

- - 9:30 A.M. Yesterday - -
S: Don, hi. I need a favor...
Don: Sure thing. What can I do for you?
S: Emily just told me, do you know anyone that she is interested in?
Don: Yeah, a girl named Chloe
S: Perfect could I have her number please?
Don: I can't do that.
S: You owe me.
Don: ...
Don: ***-***-****
S: Thank you, dear
She exited the messaging app and opened the phone app, then dialed in the number she had been given.
"Uh, helloo, w-who izs this?"
"That doesn't matter. I believe that you were involved with someone very dear to me. An Emily Mendozas?" She heard a quiet gasp over the phone.
"Y-yeah. Why?"
"I need you to contact her. I don't care how, I don't care why as long as this isn't it, I just need you to see her. She is happy right now, and I can't have anyone ruining that. This will make her happier, I guarantee it. After all, you like her right?"
"Yes..."
"Then this will benefit you as well. Don't tell her about this. Good luck."
