章節 58: Friendly Rivalry
Deku was at Bakugo's house for more tips. "That's it Deku!" he said. What he said next stunned Deku for the next few seconds as he tried to process it. "You and me are gonna fight again, and you better win this time!"
Deku mustered all the courage he had and said "I'll definitely win this time!", but he knew that no amount of training he took part in would help him beat Bakugo. "Follow me kid." Bakugo said.
Ignoring Bakugo's statement, he walked with him outside and into a deserted area. "Now fight me!" Bakugo shouted, smoke flowing out of his hands. The place was empty, and only a few houses were scattered across the place, all of which were different colors, but had broken windows. "DIE!!!" Bakugo shouted as he leaped towards Deku. Deku started regretting agreeing to fight Bakugo, but jumped out of Bakugo's explosion range as he was lost in thought. Bakugo boosted himself forward, and within seconds, he was below Deku, waiting for him to land. Deku did the only thing he could do well. "SMASH!!!", Deku shouted as green electricity flew around him and a big shockwave spread across the place as he flicked his finger. Bakugo was pushed back, and eventually stumbled onto the floor from the pressure of the shock wave. Deku knew this was his chance. He ran up to Bakugo and pulled his fist back. Bakugo already had black smoke fuming and rumbling in his hand. "Don't think just cuz you got All Might an' you train every day that you can beat me!" Bakugo yelled. "SMASSSSSH!!!!!" "EXPLODE A PULT!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A gust of wind and pressure flew everywhere. Deku's hit landed on Bakugo's face, knocking him back and making him crash into one of the deserted houses, while the explosion and waves knocked Deku away, making him tumble and roll on the ground for a bit before eventually landing in front of the door for one of the deserted houses. Coughing, Deku stood back up, waiting for Bakugo's appearance. A pale arm suddenly shattered the window behind Deku, trying to grab him. Bakugo pulled Deku into the house by breaking the door, and then used a mighty explosion to blow the house up, and make Deku and him fly away. Deku was fast enough to use a smash when Bakugo pulled the explosion, thus making them both fall back once again. Deku pulled his fist back as he saw Bakugo soaring towards him like a bullet. Within seconds, Deku was in the air and Bakugo was on the ground. Deku flew through the air, and then cushioned his fall with his shoes. Bakugo got back up and wiped blood off of his face. Glass and wood was laid out across the floor, blood staining them and turning them into a deep and dark red. Deku jumped on the wall of one of the houses, and leaped off. He soared towards Bakugo with his fist back. "THE FINAL SHOT!!!" they both shouted. Deku felt the power of One for All rush through him. "EXPLODE A SMASH!!!!!!!!!!"
BOOM! The wind was moving like crazy. Glass and more wood flew every which direction, some stabbing Deku and Bakugo. And then, only one remained. Dark tendrils coming out of Deku's back, he said, "I won this time......"
