Selah concealed her surprised expression. She put on her best smile and extended her hand.
"Welcome to our booth. Let me see a glimpse of your life." Selah recited her catchphrase that was composed by her classmate.
The woman gently placed her hand on Selah's extended one.
Selah was overwhelmed by her presence.
Her gift only saw a blank area over the woman in her face.
"You won't be able to see anything because this time rejected my soul so is my future." The woman spoke.
"Then may I have your name please." Selah inquired.
"I am Wifey." the woman introduced.
"If so then why do you want to enter this booth?" Selah politely asked.
"I am here to warn you. It will come, even before the duke will wake up." Wifey notified.
"It?" Selah asked in curiousity.
"The woman who sealed the gap." Wifey unravelled.
"Who? is she close to us." Selah asked.
"Yes, very close." Wifey stated.
"Then what are you?" Selah asked.
"I am just a humble soothsayer, duchess." Wifey confessed.
"If so how did you end up in this time?" Selah asked.
"I can't tell you that. Pardon me." Wifey replied. She put on her brown veil. Her purple lace dress did not match her leather boots but her posture and perfumes catches the people around them.
"To the young Glockenspiel behind the tent. Meet me at school gate. You need to hear something." Wifey stated as she walked out of the booth.
Ole and Cherith shivered.
"So are you going?" Cherith asked.
"Yes, We should go together." Ole stated.
Cherith chuckled nervously and was planning to escape but Ole yanked his feather like hair and dragged him toward the school gate.
Urchin and Saga were busy in processing the papers for the film making and equipment needed for the class when they caught a glimpse of Cherith being mercilessly yanked by Ole.
"You know what sometimes I wonder of what you love about Ole." Urchin uttured.
Saga just released a broken giggle.
"Well it can't be helped, she resembles Ophir more than Lehi." Urchin whispered as the two got swallowed by the crowd.
The woman bowed her head and lead the two on a cafe within the area.
"Isn't this place too crowded?" Ole quarried.
"Nope, it's safer than being suspicious." Wifey replied.
Cherith sliced the cake ordered by Wifey and handed the plates.
"You called us here. What do you want me to hear?" Ole inquired.
"Be polite! Don't talk like a gangster!" Cherith said as he pushed Ole's head to bow.
"It's okay. I am not a royal like she does." Wifey stated.
Ole felt ashamed of her action and sincerely apologized.
"I heared about the IT. But who is it?" Ole asked in a serious tone.
The woman shut her eyes and stared at Ole.
"Your mother." Wifey stated.
"That is absurd!" Ole hissed.
"It's the truth. She was the only time honoured gifted who cross the era twice. She was the one who sealed your father's era. Her disappearance were not painless. I was not able to see what happened but she seemed to have been possessed." Wifey explained.
"How true are your words when you just appeared?" Ole pointed.
Wifey knew that the Glockenspiel behold wisdom but this woman both have wisdom and intuition. Wifey decided to speak about herself even if she does not wish to do so.
"I am from Filedelfa. I was raised as a soothsayer from where Urchin's mother was raised. I did not pass any era. I went through the era." Wife pointed.
"If so then how come your youth remained the same?" Cherith stated.
"I was cursed by one of the shadow that was left from the whistle." Wifey replied.
"Cursed?" Ole raised with disbelief.
"More or less I am an offspring of that shadow. My mother got defiled, After the era disappeared. The shadows wondered from time to time. When they knew that they won't hold on for long. They decided to reproduce with humans. And My mother is one of them. I don't really know if there are others who are like me but it is true." Wifey uttured uncomfortably.
"I believe you for now." Ole said out of guilt. She did not just insulted her, she also forced Wifey to speak about her horrible past.
"Then please tell this to the prince. The Duke won't wake up till Kiel will show himself." Wifey stated.
"Do you know where Kiel is?" Ole asked not fully aware who si Kiel.
"Yes, he was caged in a portal that held his wife captive. I am not sure who is the one holding on the present queen but our current King have it pitiful on his edge. He is merely surviving." Wifey confessed.
Ole and Cherith were silent the whole time. Selah mentioned Wifey and Ain tried to get everything that he can. Ole grit her teeth and spoke up.
"She said that we need to prepare. The It she was mentioning is a very strong opponent." Ole delivered.
Cherith rubbed her back for support.
"Wifey said that the Duke won't wake up not unless Kiel is released." Cherith cut off to give Ole some space to breath.
Urchin and the triplets were astonished to hear it.
"She knows where is father!" Urchin exclaimed.
"Yes, she said that he is trapped inside a portal that was set by a unknown being that held his wife." Cherith expanded.
"She also mentioned that the It who sealed the gap will come to devour us." Selah followed up.
"And that it is very close to us." Cherith uttered as he eyed Ole.
"She said it's my mother." Ole whispered.
Ain and Kish were frozen. Even Fur felt like his spine will gave out from the quiver.
"Lehi!?" Kahieli voiced out.
"How?" Kish asked in disbelief.
"She said that she is the only time honoured person who cross the era twice." Ole sadly replied.
"I really don't know how to deal with it but it's kind of heart wrenching to see how my mother turned out. I am resigning for tonight." Ole professed as the night got silent and colder.
