Chapter 7:

He turned me and said, "Can I go stay with Jack?"

I nodded. I then called Celina. She picked up and said, "What can I do for you Deejay?"

I said, "You can call me Jay if you want. I was wondering when you get off work. And Silver wants to stay with Jack tonight."

She said, "I get off in a few hours. And he can stay whenever he wants."

I said, "Thank you. I know this is a little sudden. But something went down that I need to tell you."

She replied, "Of course. We can do the same as last night."

I agreed. I then looked at Silver. I said, "You can go and see Jack."

That stopped the shaking a little. I said, "I do not want you to say anything to Jack thought. I am going to discuss this with him Mom."

He nodded. I picked him up and he hugged my tightly. He said, "Thank you for protecting me Jay."

I hugged him back.I said, "Of course Silver. I will always protect you however I can."

He nodded. We then drove back. Jack saw us pull up and came running out. He stopped and said, "What is wrong Silver?"

Silver looked at me. I smiled. He said, "I just got an owie. But I am all better. Let's go play."

I waved them off. Jack said, "Jay, come play with us."

I smiled. I walked with them. Both of them holding my hand. Dallas was still playing. He did see me. He winked at me and continued playing his game. We sat down in Jack's room. He said, "We should play princess, dragon, and Knight."

I laughed and said, "Sure. But I want to be the Knight first."

Jack said, "No.You got to be the princess first. You have to show us how it is done."

I laughed. I was banished to the bed. Which was the castle. Silver stomped everywhere and kept saying, "Raw!"

He then pretend to spit fire. Jack was the knight. He took out a foam sword. Silver grabbed a sword. They began to do a sword fight. It was adorable. Finally, the dragon was slayed. He hopped on the bed and said, "I will seal fate with a kiss."

He then kissed my cheek. I kissed his forehead. I said, "Can I be the Knight now?"

Silver said, "No. I am the knight now."

I rolled my eyes. We did the same thing. We played princess, knight, and dragon until Celina came home. She had pizza with her. Jack went down and hugged her. He said, "I saved princess Jay from the evil dragon."

She laughed and said, "You heroic boy."

I went down and she looked at me. She motioned for me to follow her I said, "I will he back."

They nodded. They began to play but without the princess. I followed Celina to what was a study/home office. She closed the door and set down the wine glasses. She went to her mini fridge and pulled out wine and juice. I laughed. She said, "I stocked it for you."

I smiled at her. Her face went serious. She said, "I heard about what happened."

I nodded slowly. I said, "How much do you know?"

She said, "Bare to none."

I nodded.I said, "Let me start then. The dudes name is Daren. He is my ex best friend. We were really close. Until he let his feelings get in the way of his judgment. He began to stalk me. He hated how much time I spent with Silver. He even tried to kidnap him.

Every since then, we have had a restraining order on him. Until a few nights ago. It was when Jack spent the night. I ordered pizza because that is what they wanted. I opened the door and saw him.

I grabbed the pizza. He then called me Jay. I told him that he lost that privilege. I closed the door. I knew that Silver saw him. But I thought that maybe he was looking at something else. Paying attention to the pizza and not who it was. Oh, how I was wrong.

Silver said he saw him when I picked up him and Jack. He motioned of slitting his throat. He then pointed at Silver with a wicked grin."

I felt the tears. I took a sip if my juice. I sighed and continued, "He then broke into the house. He wanted to finish off Silver. I did stop him. But for how long? I wanted to let you know. He knows that I have been here before. Many times actually."

She nodded. She said, "I understand. I am glad you are making sure that we might be in danger."

I nodded. I said, "Do we want Jack to know?"

She shook her head no. She said, "He would not understand that well. He is to nice to think any bad out of anyone."

I said, "But that can come in handy. Also, what is the deal with Dallas and Jack."

She sighed and said, "Dallas is overprotective when he meets someone new involving Jack. After that. he could care less."

I nodded. She said, "I am sorry you had to deal with that."

I laughed weakly. I said, "Not my first time. Silver is a little shaken up. He still has his projector here."

She looked confused. I said, "I have this projector that helps him sleep. It is stars. It calms him down and gets him to sleep quickly."

She nodded. She said, "It works well with Jack as well. I actually have gone to sleep at a reasonable time."

I laughed lightly. I said, "Thanks for this."

She nodded. She said, "I do have a question for you."

I made a sound. She said, "Did you get excepted into a college that you did not apply for?"

I nodded. I said, "Lilith Academy. Why do you ask?"

She pulled out a letter. It was like the one I got. But it was addressed to Dallas. I nodded. She puts it away. I said, "Has he seen anything weird?"

She shook her head no. I nodded. She looked confused. I shook my head. I said, "It is nothing."

I stood up and was about to walk out the door when someone walked in...
