Phyllis and Denzel paid Melanie's tuition fees and made provisions for all the things she would need for her studies. They didn't rent an apartment for her because it was a weekend school and she needed to still work to support herself so she had to be closer to the office than to school. Phyllis and Denzel supported her without any malice but Denzel had to be smart to be careful around her.
One day as Phyllis sat with Melanie to have a conversation, she smiled at herself because she had noticed an improvement in her attitude and character especially her sense of reasoning. Her perspective on things and issues had changed and she argued in an objective but not subjective manner. Phyllis was amazed at Melanie and began to wonder what would have happened to her if she and Denzel hadn't helped her. She also began to reflect on her life especially during her breakups and what she went through. Could she have continued working and had the life she's having if her friends and family hadn't supported her? She would have even gone mad or committed suicide if she hadn't had the support she had. Tears began to flow from her eyes as she thought about these issues. Melanie asked her about what was making her cry but she shook her head and smiled and said "Life". Life is more easier for those who have support than those who do not have. I'm wonderful what would have become of you after your daughter's death if we hadn't found you and what would have happened to me during my days of brokenness if I hadn't found support". They both smiled at each other, then Melanie hugged and thanked her for her kindness and apologised for any wrong thing she had done to her.
"What are you apologising for, Mel?" Phyllis asked. Melanie bowed her head in shame and said " I was lusting after Mr. Mansford sometime ago. I really wanted to have a affair with him but I couldn't get him. I know that was evil but you even were the one who stopped me from doing that evil with a story you told about one of your cousins. I'm sorry I even conceived that evil thought." Melanie confessed while kneeling down but Phyllis helped her to get on her feet and told her it was okay she didn't sleep with her husband and for her to have confess too. "So far as we're human are emotions are bound to push us to do nasty things so it is normal for you to have that feeling. What would have made you evil is if you hadn't controlled that emotion of yours. Nobody has control over her emotions but everybody has control over her actions. Phyllis said.
Melanie excused herself to go to her bedroom to take a nap because she was tired. Phyllis began to think about what she could do to help other women who could be going through both emotional and mental breakdown. She quickly browsed through the internet to search for foreign aid to support her open an organisation that would help support and power women. She penned down "to support and empower to be economically self dependent " as her vision statement because that's what that was her intended outcome for every woman she registers. She then coined her mission statement as " to spread the power of self dependency in women." She believed that being self dependent as a woman would reduce if not stop most abuse cases in women. She read through all that she had written and realized that she needed to plan well if the foundation would be successful.
She therefore took the pen and paper and began to list the activities she would use to achieve the outcomes and listed counselling, health education, training on handicrafts and apprenticeships and if possibly sponsor some of the women through tertiary education or pursue the short courses available to broaden their knowledge and skills on their chosen career paths and use the media and theavailable socialmedia platforms to create awareness on the need for women to seek help during an abuse and the need for women to be economically self dependent. " Well, when it comes to financing, I think I will organise fundraising events, look for foreign sponsors, send proposals to these big big companies and also sell some of the artefacts these women would be making. She smiled because she was proud of herself and began to look at her possible challenges but when she looked at her vision statement she was motivated to establish the foundation.
She laid the dining table for supper and prepared Denzel's favourite jollof rice but to add flavour and change the taste, she added coconut milk. She pampered him on the dining table and even continued to pamper him when they got to their bedroom. As soon as they both showered, she traced his lips and kissed him in between with her tongue, then switched to give him a French kiss by extending her tongue to reach for his and continuously kissed it until he was aroused. She gently grabbed and rubbed his balls while he was still wearing his boxers until she could feel that his penis was hard and the front part of his boxers was wet with the fluid that comes out of an aroused penis. She gently pushed him onto the bed and sat on him. She fucked rode him for a while and later knelt so that he would fuck her in the doggy style position. He loved the doggy style because he could see her pink wet vagina full of cream and also loved to see the movement of his penis inside her vagina especially as her vagina fart. They came in no time because the lovemaking was intense and erotic.
After they had both come and showered again, Phyllis brushed her hands through the hairs on his chest. Denzel smiled because he was beginning to understand why he was being given a special treat that evening. She wanted a favour or wanted them to have a discussion concerning her. " Babes, can I show something to you so that you will share your thoughts on it for me?" She asked and Denzel smiled because his suspicions had been cleared. "Yes Dear, he replied." He read through what she had penned down and couldn't be more proud of her. He grabbed and kissed her on her forehead. That's a good venture but if I may ask what gave you the motivation for this?" He asked her and she told him that it was Melanie's experience that did. Denzel asked what she wanted him to do to help. "Just help me register the foundation" for a start. "Yes Ma'am," he jokingly said.
Denzel helped to register the foundation and in less than a month they had registered and launched the foundation so she sent proposals to some foreign sponsors for partnership and she got one from the United States. She registered and started with five women between twenty to thirty and later got more women to register as her foundation began to make impact in the lives of the women she had registered. Her husband insisted that she resigned from Richards International but she requested that he gave her sometime for the foundation to be well established before she resigned because it wasn't right to count your chicks before they're hatched so he agreed to give her some time. He wanted her to resign because he felt working in those two organisations was draining her and besides she was having a divided attention towards both jobs.
One day, she had a message from her mother which read " congrats for turning the lemons life threw at you into a lemonade factory." She smiled at the message and responded " thanks mom, I didn't understand what I was going through back then, but I think life was birthing a vision in me through those pains." She ordered for an expensive wine to celebrate her achievements and pampered herself saying " I don't have to wait for somebody else to celebrate me."
