The doctor who was treating Denzel told Mrs. Richards that he needed to take Denzel back to the hospital on admission so that he would undergo physiotherapy since to heal his broken bones. He told them that their lives were still in danger and he needed to protect them so he would meet them at the entrance to the hospital so that he would take them to one of his farm houses which is unknown to anyone apart from the one who sold it to him. He told them to keep their whereabouts from anyone including Amelia and Mrs. Richards. Mr. Richards was concerned about the security of his son because unknown to anyone, he loved him very much. He's sometimes even wondered why he loved him that much because he'd never loved anyone as much as he loved Denzel apart from Felicity, Denzel's mother. He was willing to protect him with his life if the need ever arose because Denzel was his heartbeat, a reminder of his one true love. He met them at the entrance, thanked the doctor and told him to tell his family that, Denzel refused to be admitted and had promised to come to the hospital daily for his physiotherapy after his counselling sessions.
He drove them to his farm house and told them not to disclose their whereabouts to anyone not even Amelia. He left after he had made provisions for everything they'll need to be comfortable in that house. He then left for his office the next day and called a travelling agency to make an arrangement for Denzel, Mrs. Jones and Phyllis to travel to Australia as soon as possible since Phyllis was due for delivery. Mrs. Jones had promised to go with them so that she would be able to take care of Phyllis and her baby since that was her first child and she had a little knowledge on newborn babies.
Denzel, Mrs Jones and Phyllis travelled to Australia as scheduled. They had to travel outside the country because of Amelia. She would insist on knowing where they were and would have forced to see them and probably would have disclosed their location to her mother since she had no idea of what was going on. Mr. Richards didn't want Amelia to know what was going on because he didn't want Amelia to hate her mother because she loved and idolized her.
Phyllis called Amelia when they settled in Australia and they had a long conversation but she never mentioned that Mrs. Richards, Amelia's mother was behind whatever was going on with her and Denzel. Amelia was angry with Phyllis for not informing her earlier about their relocation because she had already bought baby items for the baby and it was supposed to be a surprise for both Phyllis and the baby. Phyllis apologised to her and told her that she didn't want them to have a painful departure that's why she left silently. She told her about how much she missed her and would be with her after her delivery. Phyllis gave the phone to Denzel who happily talked to Amelia. He told her how nostalgic he felt but he needed a change of environment so that he would fully recover from the trauma he went through during his kidnap. Amelia told her she understood and asked him to take good care of Phyllis and the baby and she hanged up.
Few minutes after the call, Phyllis asked Denzel to follow her to their bedroom so that, she would have a discussion with her. She undressed as soon as they got inside and told him to fuck her. He told her he was afraid because he thought he might harm the baby but she assured him he wouldn't hurt the baby but it would rather help her to have an easy delivery. The Accountant pleaded guilty to all the charges raised against him but he never mentioned Mrs. Richards as his accomplice since he didn't want to disgrace Mr. Richards because that would bring the secret he's protected for all those years out. The judge gave him a five year sentence since he didn't have any criminal record. Mr. Richards didn't let him mention the illegal activities and the money he was diverting from Richards International to the court and the prosecutor also never found out about it that's why his sentence was minimal. He went to the prison to visit him often and went with food and other things he would need including money. He was allowed to do that because he was an influential person who made donations to the police department annually.
He continued to live with his wife and daughter n peace and harmony and treated them like he's always done without raising any suspicions. He made sure his food was always prepared by the maids and kept his wife busy anytime she proposed to cook for him. The fact that he didn't raise suspicions didn't also mean he wasn't cautious. He hired a bodyguard for his wife and took a daily report on their movement and her phone calls but warned him to never tell his wife about that. Denzel and Amelia also called the house every weekend so that they could talk to them as a family because in spite of everything they were family and Mrs. Richards never made them feel any less. They would also talk to their family as well during the weekends. Mr. Richards sent money to Phyllis' family often just to make sure they are comfortable.
Denzel and Phyllis enjoyed their vacation as they spent lots of time together shopping, going on dates and having sex since she managed to convince him that would help her deliver easier. On one snowy Saturday afternoon right after a hot sex, Phyllis' water broke and she was rushed to the hospital where she was delivered of a bouncing baby girl without any complications. Denzel couldn't hold his joy. He happily hugged Phyllis and the baby girl and carried the baby in his arms with beams of smiles. He thanked Phyllis for giving him a beautiful daughter and for being a good woman to him. He later called Phyllis' family, his stepfather and the Richards to inform them about Phyllis' delivery and how bouncing and beautiful his daughter was. They were all happy and congratulated him. Amelia begged him to send pictures of the baby to her so he promised to send them to her as soon as possible. He couldn't stop looking at Phyllis' picture after he hanged up the call. He decided to marry her during the baby naming ceremony because he loved her deeply and wanted to spend the rest of his life together with her as they build a family together. He also didn't want his daughter to be raised by another man. He called Phyllis to check up on her and the baby before he went to bed.
