"My Yllana… come to me…"

The heavy feeling inside her chest made her bow. 

"Lucien…" Yllana whispered between her breaths. She felt nervous. The voice inside her head had never said anything to her except call out her name, but now it just asked for her to come to him. "Damned Demon King," she added. 

"What did I do?"

Lucien blinked twice as he stared at her from the distance. He heard her call out to him earlier. "I was just passing by…"

He was stunned to hear her cursing him. 

"Not you! Ah!" 

Her head throbbed. Several veins on her forehead seemed to be beating with her heart. It hurts! When her knees wobbled, she grabbed the nearest thing she could grab…and it was a curtain.

The guards in the nearest room she was passing by noticed her labored breathing and panicked. 

"Lady Yllana? Are you hurt anywhere?"
