章節 60: Chapter 56 : Taking Matters Into Your Own Hands
' Since Alhan and Gilyu won't join me and Lance is away , I suppose I will have to take matters into my own hands . ' Rogue spoke to himself out loud as he dusted his hands and grinned out at the open ocean between their island and the volcanoes , ash and lava streams of the land of magma .
Rogue walked of , he went back toward the mansion .
He entered through the back door and grabbed some essential items : The map he drew , some books from the shelf that were old , old dusty and thick . He also lifted a large barrel of water from the basement and brought it outside .
He ran upstairs and flung a few t shirts and shorts out from his wooden clothes rack and finally without saying a word to Alhan and Gilyu , he walked into the room they were playing chess and grabbed a large dagger that was hanging on the wall .
Alhan and Gilyu wandered what he was doing but they didn't care enough to actually ask him .
Rogue carried all of these things down to the peer were outrigger would usually be .
A small stack of books , a barrel of water , a knife and a few old shirts and shorts were all together as a bizarre cluster of essential things .
Rogue didn't go into the house to sleep that night .
As a matter of fact he stayed out and lay on the grass next to the peer and gazed at the stars .
' Ah , reminds me of when I lived across the sea , lying outside gazing at the bright silver stars and the deep blue night sky , the calm breeze flowing all around me , those were the days , before I found a portal and got attacked by a monster , before the days of living in a cave and fighting alongside a man I had met a few days prior , but most of all before I lived with 2 half wits with lightning for brains and a man who has similar abilities to me but doesn't even try to pursue them . I really hope someday I find the answers to mine and Alhan's powers but most of all , I hope to one day find my mother and father . ' Rogue quietly reminisced as he slowly nodded off to sleep .
