After packing her things, Chen Rui went to accompany her father to the hospital. Tang Xue and her daughter, Tang Yurou was there. They didn't say anything to her except for welcoming her. It was obvious enough that the mother had already instructed her daughter on what to do. If that were the case then Chen Rui wouldn't have to worry about getting headaches after living with them.

They arrived at the Chen residence shortly and Chen Rui was showed to her old room.

It has been so long since she last saw it. It was kept clean and everything was kept in place all thanks to her father ordering the servants to maintain its cleanliness.

Some of her old clothes were still there and her mother's framed photo was still by the drawer.

She felt at home, remembering the days where she spent days together with her mother in this place.
