"Are you sure that you don't want to see Xin'er?" Ye Fanfan asked after discussing the plans on how to her Chen Luizhi out of Tang Xue's grip. "I don't think seeing her will bring her harm as long as it's indoors."

Maybe she didn't realize it herself but Chen Rui was actually just using that as an excuse just so she could delay from seeing her sister. She just actually didn't know how to face her. It has been so long since she last saw her. What if she suddenly asked questions that she couldn't answer? Like why hasn't she shown herself to her back then when she already knew of her existence.

Chen Rui didn't know what to do to honestly. She was anxious, what if Ye Shuxin wouldn't like her? She was her only sibling and even if she hasn't met her, the thought of seeing her sister distressed her. 

"Xiao Rui?" Ye Fanfan's voice snapped her out of her thoughts.
