章節 9: Land of Waves Mission

Team 7 was standing in the mission distribution center in front of Hokage and Iruka Sensei who were handing out the missions.

We had just completed the mission of finding cat "Tora" and felt pity for the cat.

Now, hopefully we will get the C-rank mission, Land of Waves!

Sasuke : 'I have long been waiting for going out of the village for some fresh air.'

Sasuke : 'I have bought a lot of food with my money for that place, especially vegetables etc. for the market of that place for the time being while we make the situation of the place better. I am going to rob Gato and thugs clean.'

Naruto : "Old gramps! give us a C-rank mission!I am not doing any more of these low level missions. I am a real ninja dattebayo!"

Iruka sensei reprimanded him but Naruto wasn't budging this time.

Hiruzen : "Ok! You want a C-Rank mission huh?Let me see..."

Hiruzen : "Here, a mission to the Land of Waves. Your job is to protect a bridge-builder back to his country."

And Tazuna came in with a wine bottle insulting the genins, as he knew they might probably die in this mission or abandon the mission midway. So, he was giving them a chance to refuse.

We agreed to the mission and went our homes for preparing our supplies to set off the next day.

We set off the next day and I had already stored food in scrolls.

I had kept my aura to high Chunin level using Chakra Suppression Seal.

We encountered the chunin ninja brothers, which me and Naruto tied up.

After that, we came to know about the sad story from Tazuna of his village and then still continued onto the mission.

I had already checked the surrounding using sharingan and there were no ninjas in vicinity tailing us. Maybe, Hokage had complete confidence in Kakashi's abilities for some C-Rank mission.

Later, we encountered Zabuza and unlike canon his killing intent only scared Naruto a bit. So, Sasuke defeated his clone along with Naruto and they went towards Zabuza. Kakashi was unable to breathe in water prison. So, both of us sent a lot of shurikens and kunai towards Zabuza and he had to dodge them in order to survive, which stopped the water prison jutsu.

Kakashi didn't get hurt much unlike canon and battled again with Zabuza after which some needles were sent towards Zabuza to make him appear dead just before he was being pulverised.

Haku thanked everyone for helping him hunt down a missing nin of Mist and we continued on to our journey.

We then went to Tazuna's home and Kakashi rested due to his exhaustion.

I sent 3 of my shadow clones to search for Gato's nest or some bandits in the area and 1 to refill the food market after using Transformation Jutsu, even though it is temporary but lives can be a little better with just this. So yeah, I will become the good guy here.

At night, Kakashi woke up and told us about the fake death of Zabuza.

Only Sakura and the civilians were worried about it while Naruto was pumped up.

We then ate dinner together and went to sleep while I sneaked out and searched all around the island for various things. I had already reached Chakra Ancestor level, so it was pretty easy to fly around.

Next day, Kakashi took us for the tree walking exercise, which Naruto had to do along with my clone, while I was busy transferring all of Gato's assets under my name by placing him in Genjutsu. Sakura was supposed to guard the bridge after learning water walking.

(A/N : Sakura revived Naruto's heart in 4th Ninja war and also helped many times. So, all kiddos who just wish to humiliate her all the time, stop being a bitch about it.)

Things will be a bit different for Naruto from the original story, but he is Plan B in the 4th Shibobi war.

I sent a shadow clone to help Sakura in Water Walking and also helped her get some headstart with basics of medical ninjutsu. She was able to progress very fast in it and was able to heal minor scratches and wounds of fishes. She didn't question me about its source.

'Dumb girls are the best to talk to'.

After a day, Naruto had also learnt the tree climbing training.

I was going to help him start learning the Rasengan after coaxing him a bit.

Sasuke : "Naruto! Do you wish to learn 4th Hokage's A-Rank Ninjutsu "Rasengan?" "

Naruto : "How do you know about 4th Hokage's technique?"

Sasuke : "You wish to learn it or not?"

Naruto : "Will you teach me? Can you do it yourself?"

Sasuke : * Another dim-wit *

Sasuke took him to the woods to avoid Kakashi and showed him Rasengan's destructive power.

Naruto's eyes were shining thinking about performing this technique. He wanted to learn it as soon as possible.

Sasuke : "I can teach you, but you need to promise me that it will remain as a secret between us two, that it was me who taught you. This is the condition for me teaching you this awesome Jutsu that made 4th Hokage invincible. Do you agree?", as he said seriously.

Naruto : "Of course dattebayo! I won't tell anyone. I never go back on my word, you can count on it!"

Sasuke : "Let's start....."

Sasuke : 'Even though he knew this idiot will spill the beans in front of Jiraiya, but mehhh ... whatever'

Sasuke : "To learn Rasengan, you need to perform 3 steps in total, I will teach you the 1st step now..., I will tell you the next step after you can do this one...",and showed him how to burst the water balloon.

Naruto was happy about learning a new Ninjutsu and was excited to learn this jutsu as soon as possible. And he was able to able to burst a water balloon in a week but he was able to do it with one hand which is a good thing for him. I told him that he needs to learn Water Walking Technique first, in order to learn the second step.

He was able to learn it in a day after knowing the tree-walking and then I told him the second step-bursting the air balloon.

He worked on it for a day and I asked him to take a break for the final battle of this mission.

At this time, Sasuke was resting on the bridge, when Mist started appearing...

"So it seems, it is time for the second showdown. Sakura is tasked with protecting Tazuna and I will have to fight Haku, while Naruto is at Tazuna's home. Kakashi will be fighting with Zabuza."

Sasuke let Haku do his strongest technique because Kakashi needs to fight Zabuza and make some mist. Sasuke used 3-Tomoe Sharingan to see Haku's attacks and movements easily. It was a good Jutsu and no Chunin could survive him, if Haku fought to death but his hesitation was enough to land his defeat after I burnt him with a fireball jutsu and then made him unconscious. Sasuke inserted some of his ice needles at acupuncture points so that he won't wake up anytime soon.

As there had already been a lot of mist, I was able to do this without showing my prowess and went towards the other battlefield.

Naruto came a bit late this time because he had to fight some thugs, and he was already very exhausted from his secret hardwork on Rasengan.

I told Naruto to come with me in order to save Zabuza, he was skeptical at first but then I told him to beat Zabuza first, then let him see the light.

Kakashi almost finished his victory after some time and I was waiting for Gato's men to come, so I saved Zabuza and immobilized him using needles.

I had already shown quite a few of my abilities, but I can give 2 flying shits to that.

With strength comes a lot of confidence.

I asked Kakashi to wait for some time as my shadow clone was already among the thugs of Gato.

My shadow clone among Gato's thugs made another shadow clone and dissipated himself to send memories back.

He will be coming anytime now. Naruto, also came by to help, only to find no battle and felt devastated.

I told him that the real battle was about to start and woke up Haku and Zabuza as Gato was coming with his many thugs for the final kill and it is time for Zabuza to become a good person probably as an Anbu?

Gato was easily killed by Zabuza, when he knew that there was no money for him any way.

So, he killed most of the thugs as well along with Gato easily without dying as he had his 2 arms in good condition this time.

Sasuke's clone had already got all the money in his accounts transferred from Gato's accounts, so it didn't matter whether they were killed.

Zabuza thanked me and Kakashi and wanted to go away with Haku to start a new life. But I asked him to join Anbu as a part of hidden leaf. I don't know of the future, but I have changed some things that I deem fit. Zabuza hesitated and refused my request. Well, if he doesn't want to join then whatever...

These 2 guys won't be making any splashes in the near future hopefully, but I will be able to handle all the situations now.

At the end, villagers of Land of Waves also came to the bridge battle ready and saw the last scene of Gato and his thugs being killed by Zbuza and joined the bridge building together speeding things up.

Soon a bridge was completed and named as the Great Naruto bridge as Naruto had given hope to Inari and later on to the whole village and off we go the next day after the bridge's last section got completed.
