章節 142: Because I love you

Rachel was nervous throughout the ride to his family's residence. If he was even saying something, it would have made things less uncomfortable, but he was driving and kept his attention on the road while she didn't know whether to say a word or not. 

She had only ever been to their apartment a few times and that was years ago when they were still in high school or maybe even middle school. She could not remember correctly. 

So she took out her phone and decided to text her friends in order to minimize the tension. 

"Emergency guys! This is awkward!" She sent the message to the group titled "TJDR". 

"Uh oh! What happened?" Jared asked first. 

"Should we come and rescue you?" Timi asked. 

"He is driving. And I'm just sitting here and have no idea what I'm supposed to do." Rachel explained. 

"Driving? To where?" Delilah asked.

Jared, "I thought you guys were going to chat outside?"
