If either Rachel or Noah stepped into this apartment now, they wouldn't be able to believe that it was the same apartment they had lived in just a week ago. The entire place smelled bad and it was all thanks to Peter Black, who was sleeping on the floor of the living room. All around him were empty packs of snacks and pizzas and empty bottles of beer. He couldn't remember the last time he saw sunlight. His heart felt very heavy, and sometimes he found himself crying. Was this what depression felt like? He hated this feeling. He hated it so much that he wanted to kill himself for it to stop.
