章節 95: Feelings and trouble

If Rachel was not feeling very awful before, she definitely was after her conversation with Jared. 

"Look here, darling, let me spell it out for you." He said, cupping her face to make her face him. 

"I don't know if it's love, but you seem attracted to Noah. Very attracted. And that... is trouble." 

He let go of her face and said nothing else as he waited for his words to sink in. When it did, she began to panic. 

"Oh God no! No, no no. I don't want to be attracted to him." She shook her head in denial repeatedly.

"I don't want to!" She cried, dreading the future.

"That is one of the reasons why I think this is trouble," Jared said with a sigh. "I have no close relationship with my cousin, so I can't tell you much about him, but you have known him for years and I believe you know everything you are supposed to know."

"I know!" She yelled. That was exactly the point. She knew Noah.
