Calder felt uneasy, he wasn't sure how they could make their move without hurting someone innocent. Shae looked uncomfortable, it took a lot of convincing but he was able to open up about how he and his sister came to be and it was heartbreaking. 

Calder gritted his teeth, this was not the time or place to be thinking of anything but the mission on hand. They were barely able to convince Esai that Lady Britille was on their side and that they needed to rescue her from whatever situation she was in. Shae swore up and down that Britille was not acting on anyone's orders but they all had their doubts.

Rutley whistled out the signal, it was the go ahead to move onto the second stage of the rescue operation. Rutley and a few shadow guards were able to neutralize the first line of defense at the manor.
