章節 134: Gossiping Women

"This is so-o good!" Lady Britille squealed as she took another bite of a grey and pink macaron. "L-lady, do we have to be here?" Wystan said with a bright red face. They were sitting in a high class café meant for socialites and their attendants. Women dressed to the nines with fancy fasteners and hats.

Wystan glanced around and saw that the women there seemed to be eyeing them as the enjoyed their tea time. The walls were a dark mahogany stained wainscotting from ceiling to floor, large windows littered along the walls with decorative floral panels in between windows.

Empire chandeliers hung from the ceilings, elegantly carved tables and chairs with plush cushions were strategically laid out. Maids and waiters with food trolleys would come in and out of the kitchen. Not anyone could come into this café.
