The rain was harshly pouring in the Gantlet Woodland. Water was rising and flood had already covered the land. Only half of the mountains' former glory could be seen.

Meanwhile, the leaves of the second fort had already withered away from the strong gush of the river coupled with the unceasing storm above.

The flood that replaced the river was now infested by water creatures that would make anyone bleed to death, making their corpse into pure energy for the Water Sentinel to absorb.

However, even though the Rune User was nowhere near the Second Port, he could still be easily seen. Because with the clouds covering the only source of light in Gantlet other than the few torches, there was complete darkness.

This made the woodland, now just filled with flood more terrifying. 

For the Rune User, he was like a star on the far horizon. But in reality, he was just floating near the borders of the woodland.
