Aiden was expecting Elina's voice, instead, he heard Jayden speak on the phone.

"How is she? Is she ok?" Jayden's anxious voice came out of the phone.

"She is still alive…" Aiden replied.

Jennifer glared at him while Jayden felt speechless. For the first time after so many years together with him, he did not know how to respond to his brother. He knows Aiden hates Jennifer but he did not expect that it would be to this extreme. He did not want any of his family members to fight with each other. All he wants was a happy joint family but he can see that it's not possible in the near future.

"Aiden, can you please give the phone to her once?" Jayden begged.

"No," Aiden muttered and even hung up the call.
