"What… did you say?" she asked, holding his gaze so intently as she hovered over him, pinning him down with her body and her eyes. Though she was only a slip of a girl, Zeres just laid there and allowed her to continue being in the dominant position, looking up quietly at her.

Her heart was trashing wildly in her chest. But her mind was filled with a multitude of doubts, even telling herself that she must have misheard him. There was no way he would have said that, right? He could not have indirectly called her his 'home'. Right…?!
