I kept an eye on the news while watching Hydra and the Hand tear each other apart to my amusement. Every time they went to make a truce I'd manipulate them into attacking the other until Madam Gao was gravely injured and killed although temporarily.
There were no more truces after that and the gloves came off. They targeted each other's higher ranking members as they went in for the kills. Senators, congressmen and many upper level Hand members were killed as Hydra went after not just Gao, but the other fingers as well, using S.H.I.E.L.D. as a cover.
The hand had retaliated by killing Alexander Pierce, Gideon Malick, Octavian Bloom, Daniel Whitehall and Senator Stern. I took advantage of the chaos and strife before slaughtering nearly all of Hydra that had infected S.H.I.E.L.D.'s ranks including Grant Ward and all the low level members. I sent Drake and Blonsky to Japan and all the Hydra and Hand bases all over the world on a killing spree.
By the time they finished killing off the last of Hydra's known bases and people, the Hand wasn't looking too well either. The Chaste has taken advantage and laid siege to the last of their main compounds while all five Fingers had gathered to stop or at least prevent another of their deaths by Drake and Blonsky as they were in Africa to end Sowande once and for all.
When the fingers gathered and used chi attacks on the armored duo, I walked out of a portal and appeared before the seven of them. "That'll be enough. You to may go back now."
Drake sighed and disappeared with Blonsky into their worlds as I turned to my former students. "You each have disappointed me very greatly. After all these years you haven't learned your lessons at all. Working for a demon? Really?"
Alexandra sneered. "What would you have us do? Lay down and die?"
I sighed. "Death wasn't your lesson little girl. It was always to come to me if you needed help! I would've granted you immortality if you'd but asked! Instead you betray Kun-Lun's laws, consort with a demon and plot to reduce my new home into a cratering pit!"
My chi lashed out and slapped them all violently. I turned to Gao. "You were supposed to be the voice of reason and now you're a two bit drug dealer!"
I turned to Alexandra. "You had the most potential of them all, and now I find you're suckling a the teat of a demon!"
I looked at them all. "You have failed in your quest for immortality and your demon will soon fall. I guess it is only fitting that I send you to the next life and hope you're reincarnated smarter next time."
I moved faster than they could blink and ripped the chi from each of them, storing it inside my profound stone while their bodies were reduced to withered husks and their souls departed for the demon's realm of which they served. I followed them back to Japan and into a cavern where a giant demon statue was erected.
I summoned Blonsky and Drake before tossing them into the portal to the demon's domain saying. "When you kill the demon, summon me and I'll bring you back out. Feel free to eat it if you want. The armor you're wearing will prevent it's evil from entering your bodies."
They went flying into the portal while I chuckled and waited. Three days later while I was getting Natasha up to speed on who and what happened, she informed her boss who from her words was very liberal with the use of the word motherfucker.
When she told me he'd asked who gave her the information and she's told him about a certain white haired red eyed protector god who'd watched out for her since she was young, she'd had to prove it by showing him her suit's abilities or some of them anyway and some of that he abilities is given her like the Thor like strength and the speed as well as a bit of low level telekinesis.
Apparently more motherfuckers came and a string of other choice words that ended with him asking to meet me. She said I'd know once she spoke to my armor and that's how I ended up waiting with Fury and her in Japan while Drake and Blonsky came out of the portal I opened.
Blonsky ignored them saying. "Demon's very dead boss. We sort of ate him and his demon horde. Drake here drained them of the blood and I took everything else. It's a bit of a mess in there honestly."
Drake asked me. "Are they desert?"
I rolled my red eyes. "Hardly. This is Natalia Alianovna Romanova, my mate and your soon to be goddess. Touch her and death will be a blessing that will never come, for either of you."
I waved to Fury. "This is Nicholas Joseph Fury, head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and unless I say otherwise, untouchable as well."
Drake sighed. "And just like that I've lost my interest. I'm going back home. Try not to interrupt my meal time unless it's another fight like that one. I found myself growing stronger the more I fed off those creatures."
Blonsky turned to Fury. "General Ross still hunting for me I take it?"
Fury raised his eyebrow. "More than you know. He's raised hell over losing both you and the Hulk."
Blonsky smirked. "Then you can tell him if he finds me he'll wish he'd found God first."
He grabbed Drakes shoulder and they both went into their worlds. Fury asked. "What the hell was that? Where did they go?"
I smiled. "To their own personal paradises of slaughter. That was Blonsky all better now and if you didn't catch it, the other was the one you humans call Dracula. He goes by Drake now but the Sumerians seven thousand years ago called him Dagon. They've both signed servant contracts with me for power and other things. I own them body, mind and soul. They are my clean up team for now."
He spluttered and I told him. "Hold that thought, I'll be right back, I have a dimension to eat."
I went to the portal I'd kept open and shoved my hand through, absorbing the primordial essence into the crystal bottle my parents left behind inside my inner realm for me. I'd emptied the binding stone's primordial essence I'd taken from Zeus into it as well. It seemed to be bottomless so I felt great pity for the next god I planned to absorb.
The dimension collapsed and with it the portal as I withdrew my hand. "All done. That demonic realm is gone now. So what were you saying again?"
Fury asked. "I'd like to know how you knew Hydra had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. and who the hell were these Hand people?"
I smiled. "As for Hydra, it's quite simple. I read their minds. Or more specifically Senator Stern's. And from there I wen to everyone he knew to be Hydra and so on and so for, making a list until I had them all. I did the same for these Hand ninja people and found my former students I'd taught to control their own lifeforce working for a demon as it's power in this world."
"I knew them for several centuries and taught them a lot so I felt it my duty to clean up after them. Seeing as your organization had it's own problems, I decided to have them fight each other and so I killed some of each and pinned it on the other. War ensued and they gave each other heavy losses until I sent Blonsky and Drake to clean them up and I ended the lives of my students just before coming here to deal with the demon. It wasn't a lord or fallen god so I sent Drake and Blonsky in to test them and they passed after a fashion."
I'd said a lot and even more than he'd expected so I told him. "Here, take this. It's a book on how to close your mind and keep psychics and if you master it enough, low level gods out. I'm sure you're a busy man, what with reorganizing your organization and all so I'll be leaving now."
I walked over to Natasha and lifted her up by her ass for a possessive kiss before setting her down and walking through a portal. I listened in through the sword as Fury asked. "Is he for real?"
Natasha answered. "As real as anything I've known. He doesn't lie to me and while he might not answer a question. Or tell the whole truth to me, he hasn't lied. He's definitely a god and something else. He always says it's the least of what he is. I'm not sure what that means but whatever it is, he can go toe to toe with anything we've come across."
He grunted. "Have an assessment drawn up for the avengers initiative. With Pierce's death and the incident in Harlem as well as half our organization being slaughtered, the council has granted permission for both the tesseract project and the initiative."
She sighed. "He's said already that he won't follow your orders. He'll fight and I assume have Blonsky and Dracula fight as well but he doesn't answer to anyone. He mentioned eating the last thing that tried to order him around."
Fury shuddered before replying. "Then we'll have to hope you can keep him in line. We need him if what's out there is as real as he is."
I heard her connect with me and I told her through the link. (I heard, I was listening. I was curious of his assessment of me and what he'd do. If you think you can control me love, then I'll be happy to play along, especially if rewards are involved.)
I gave her the mental image of her on her knees, rewarding me with a throat massage and she sent back a primal lust she couldn't keep to herself. I chuckled and watched as thinks moved along while Banner learned control, the X-men or whatever they're calling themselves traded off with sending problem cases to Tibet and Stark began releasing new tech on prosthetic limbs like his suit but less bulking and more limb like.
My company really started to clean up the world as food, water and clean air were a right now and no longer a necessity. With the Hand and Hydra no longer causing problems in the world, only the Ten Rings and lesser evils wreaked havoc and caused problems for now.
I went into meditation and forced the essence of the Principalities to teach me all they knew of magic and in cases of me sensing threats, I consumed their essence. The leftover magical items I returned to the Sanctums before opening a portal to Morag, a desolate planet with no signs of life.
I walked through the ruins until I teleported to the vault room. I touched the barrier between me and the orb and smiled as it was a simple technological force field. I forced my hand through and took the orb out.
I took it into my inner galaxy and went inside as well. There I opened orb and laid a finger on the power stone. It jolted through me and I mimicked the power before closing it back up. I could feel my mimicked connection to the stone even as I put it back in it's shielded shell and back on the force field pedestal.
After that I portaled to the almost desolate planet Vormir. It took a few tries to find the place and I had to steal a star map from some very unfortunate Kree war ships as I blew them to hell while taking the soldiers on bored to play with Drake and Blonsky as a special treat.
I ate a few while I stepped through to Vormir and sensed another presence though between life and death. "Come our before I make you my next me wraithling."
A red skinless man came out and said. "So I'm a wraith then as I? I was wondering..."
I snorted. "So, what are you doing with the soul stone here?"
He frowned. "It is here true, but it is beyond my reach."
I shrugged. "True, but not beyond mine."
He shook his head. "It requires a sacrifice. That which you love the most."
I chuckled. "Sounds easy enough."
I waved a hand and two Kree came out. I altered their minds to love each other more than life itself before grabbing the first one by the throat and telling the second. "Sacrifice yourself for the soul stone and I'll let her live. Don't and you boy die before I eat your souls!"
The male didn't even hesitate and leaped off the cliff. Moments later, with his death came the soul stone floating before the Kree female officer. I snapped her neck and took the soul stone. The Red Skull himself was flabbergasted. "How did you know that would work?"
I shrugged and ripped off an arm before munching down with my symbiote body. "I didn't. But it would have stopped me from finding someone really and love and doing the same so I figured it was a spell or else a rule laid down by the previous user. Either way it doesn't matter. The stone may be sentient but it's not a benevolent sentience. Unlike you I know where and how the stones were formed and eventually I'll eat them."
I connected with the soul stone and saw a vast void of mist inside. I didn't explore and instead flicked my wrist, reversing time in the area until the man was alive and the stone disappeared from my hand. Smirking I chuckled. "Neat, but it worked so who cares."
My connection with the soul stone was solid now, just like the other three. Now I just needed to get ahold of the tesseract before the convergence and I'll have the ability to do as I planned. Dear Johann was slack jawed before finally asking. "How, wait why?"
I smirked. "Nothing is as it seems and all things have a time."
I grabbed the male Kree who was weeping over my leftovers. I tossed him to Drake to play with before portaling to search for Henry, Prue, Neal, Leo, Piper and Paige. I went to Xandar first and found clues of Piper there.
I found her working at a restaurant and serving alien dishes. I chuckled and leaned against the counter. "Need a ride out of this boring place?"
She turned and froze the room in shock while I chuckled, unaffected. "I take that as a yes?"
She shook her head. "I can't! They put a slave collar on me and sold me to the manager here. They said the collar would kill me if I tried to freeze it or take it off!"
I sighed. "Remember when I said you were immortal? You'd reform anyway. But since I'm here, point me to the manager."
She pointed to a Xandarian who had tentacles and I raised an eyebrow but didn't comment. I waved a hand and with a burst of time magic, I revered time around the collar until it unlocked itself as someone had done before she wore it.
I put it on the Xandarian tentacle monster and grabbed Piper before robbing the place of all it's credits including the customers. When we walked through the portal to Sakaar, time started and the Xandarian screeched prying at the collar until it exploded, killing him.
Chuckling I told her. "Let's find the others quickly. Time moves differently on this planet on account of the space riffs and portals above. The ship I gave Leo and Henry is here according to the nav alerts."
We moved through the junk yard while I bestowed her powers and she orbed and even healed me when I intentionally injured myself. Unfortunately healing only works for as far as extremely nearby dimensions and not to other planets.
On the bright side her freezing ability and molecular combustion ability worked perfectly, as did most of her other powers. I augmented all I could to strengthen her and gave her all the powers I myself had except mimicry as for some reason that one wouldn't transfer.
It didn't matter though as she enjoyed her other powers immensely and we orbed to where we sensed Leo and Henry as well as Paige. She was trying to convince the gladiator slaves that they, including her and now the others, shouldn't give up hope.
We orbed in hearing her speech and I chuckled shouting. "Hear hear!"
They looked back to me and I smiled. "Now, we've come to bust you, Leo and Henry our but since you've found some friends I'm sure they'll like a place in my realm."
Paige smiled. "Damn it's good to see you!"
I chuckled. "Look what I found."
I moved out of the way and Leo and Paige shouted. "Piper!"
I waved a hand, busting all the shackles, collars and chains and sending them all through a portal to explode in the Grandmaster's face. Next I told them. "Those who want away from this place gather around quickly. The Grandmaster will survive that so we need to move fast!"
They all gathered around and I sent them into the earth world with the Gnomes and all the other creatures there. Paige and the rest could help them settle down. Next I orbed to the ship and found it had crashed and was under a ton of junk and several other ships.
I sent it into my realm along with the junked ships before opening a portal. I heard a voice behind me. "Wait!"
I turned to see the Grandmaster and smiled before waving as I orbed through the portal to the Shi'ar empire throne world. He stepped through and I orbed to the other side of the planet before stepping through another portal to Jotunheim.
He didn't follow this time so I closed the portal and stepped through another to earth. As it turns out my trip to Sakaar had cost me a year and a half in total of lost time. Time really was wonky there. I'd have to look into that in person but for now I pulled my family out and showed them the remade manor.
Sighing I told them. "This is New York but it's not like our world so you'll have to be careful. This is a world of hero's and villains, gods and monsters. Here and soon you'll face threats beyond even my capabilities to prevent for now. That's why I'll be giving you all the deluxe package. Every power and strength I've gathered so far. Trust me, you'll need it to survive."
Piper asked. "What about Prue and Neal?"
I shook my head. "I can't sense them yet and I haven't found a clue about them so far."
They sighed and I nodded. "Are the others settling in?"
Paige shook her head. "A lot of them just want to go home."
I chuckled. "Then go in and I'll portal them wherever they request to go. There's no need to be stingy with them."
Leo asked. "And the blue people I sensed inside?"
I shook my head. "Prisoners and food. Think space Nazi's on steroids who whips out worlds and experiment on entire planets. This earth being one of them."
They shuddered and I nodded. "They feel no real emotions either. They're basically bots with only greed and racism for their default settings. That's why they're food and besides, I'm not exactly a good guy. The body I got born into is a devourer. It craves life as food and as such it's perfect when there are both regular and space Nazi's around. As well I've eaten a whole one hundred gods and killed and extra twenty seven besides."
They looked me over and Paige commented. "You seem human to me."
I snorted and my symbiote body came off as a black mass before her and formed into my pale, godly form I usually take. I told them through it. "This is what I was before. Though the paleness, red eyes and white hair remains after the transfer, I had to build myself a more human like body and retained my connection to this one albeit as a secondary body and armor to protect myself. Trust me, even I need protection here."
I held up both hands and began bestowing powers on them each until they all had everything but my mimicry. I told Leo and Henry to take them to the magical books here and help them as well as that I'd turned the basement into a practice room. It was nearly indestructible and shock resistant to prevent earthquakes.
I gave them the run of the place and new bank cards as well as ID's for each of them. While they learned more about this new world I sent Natasha a message through the sword suit and told her what had happened while I was gone and that some friends with power were in town.
I mentioned were former Howling Commandos and their wives. She'd tell Fury or not, not that it mattered anyways. When she got a week off she joined me and met them. They were a bit awkward at first because they knew their sister was locked inside her somewhere but they remained polite and happy for the most part.
Natasha asked me when we were at my condo alone together. "What was with them? Why did they act so weirdly? It was like they were expecting something to happen."
I chuckled. "That's a long story, one we'll have when you have more than a week off and I don't need you this badly."
She rolled her eyes with a snorted. "To you it was only a couple days."
I grinned. "But to you it was a year and knowing that makes me want to spend as much time with you, together, as one as possible."
She blushed a bit and she sighed. "You're the only one that can get passed my Russian demeanor you know that right?"
I nodded slowly and she turned in my arms looking at the city before us through the windows. "Just don't hurt me, please?"
I sighed giving in. "I'd never hurt you intentionally love, you have to know that. But what they're looking for and what you want to know may make you question my feelings for you. That's why I want you to understand something I've never shown anyone before."
I connected telepathically with her as I pulled her around to meet my gaze. I pulled her into my mind, passed my defenses and realities and to the very core of me, where my mind and soul were.
There sat thousands of me in various forms and expressions but one was bigger than all the others. Not because it was rage or anger, but the combined love I felt for all my wives and even her. I'd caught glimpses of her through the sword suit over the years. Her determination, inner resolve and strength. None of which came from a simple serum.
It was all her and it had made a place in my heart for her that was all hers. We'd spent precious little time together but even that had been easy, as if we were two magnets pushing and pulling like a dance. I held her hand up and my emotion avatar of love held up it's hand and touched hers.
She felt all that I felt for her and her alone in that moment. No mix or mash of the others but what I felt for only her alone. I held her both in my arms and in my mind as tears came down both her sets of eyes.
Finally when she released my mental avatar, I put her back in her own mind and held her while we swayed. And a classic piano song played on the radio. She asked. "Was that what you felt for me? It seemed so tangible, so real."
I chuckled. "My love for you is real. That's what I wanted you to understand. That's what I feel for you and only you. What they were looking for from you was something else. Piper has a younger sister, one older than Paige. She amongst all my wives before her, are inside you, sleeping."
She stilled before asking evenly. "What?"
I sighed. Let me show you everything about them and what I am, what's going on for the most part here."
She didn't pull away so I showed her all but what I knew of this reality. I showed her what I'd learned of later about it being a preparation grounds for the battle of the gods and she shuddered at the extent of knowing what a real god was. She asked about the ones I said I ate from here and I answered honestly that they were avatars for their real godly forms out there.
She sighed. "You've made a lot of enemies then."
I smirked. "True, but it doesn't matter so long as I have you."
She shuddered before saying. "I don't think I can be around them. They want to see their sister in me and I-I can't be her."
I shook my head. "No, love. They don't want you to be her. They're just looking for confirmation that she's ok and safe. Believe me, they know how odd it is and wouldn't expect you to act like their sister."
She sighed and I held her while she mulled it over in her own inner turmoil. Finally as the radio went to break I waved a hand and turned it off before taking her to bed. I just held her and let her sort out what she wanted to. By morning she seemed fine and I relaxed as I knew she was using Occlumency to sort them away and not think about it.
She didn't want to worry about the big stuff and so she kept it simple. That lead her to rolling over and kissing me before engaging in some intriguing practices. When she kept up her end of the massage with a very enthusiastic ending, she nearly gagaed as she swallowed what she could before the rest spilled out of her mouth.
Our massages deformed from there into rough and down right grids sex. She wanted to dominate me and I showed her how wild I truly was, partially shifting and taking her to a forested world in my inner galaxy. There things got very very wild.
I had to bestow the upgraded powers I had yet to do so to her so she could keep up but we broke more trees than a logging business did in a year in that week. I'd hunted deer when she got hungry and made a clean river for thirst but the rest of the time it was just, just us.
There wasn't a part of her I hadn't marked and dominated and she'd never stopped trying to tame me. When she smacked my snout I shifted and took her against a tree or rock and when she finally gave in, I shifted back and dominated her all over again.
It got to the point where when she saw my beast form she'd get moist in anticipation and raise a challenging eyebrow, knowing I could smell her desires. No matter how much either one of us put into dissuading the other of habits, neither of us have way. Not that we didn't enjoy the challenge.
I'd even taken her by surprise one evening while she was washing in the river. I'd lifted her out of the water in my beast form what I'd taken her from behind without using my clawed hands.
She'd been so shocked, she'd unclinched at moaned as I delved to the hilt before she could say a word and was left gasping while trying to lift herself up. That ended with the water going white half an hour later and her waddling after me while I chuckled and ran in human form.
I'd tackled her and taken her by the camp fire she'd made before. It had been slightly romantic and definitely sensual. In between the sex and eating we talked about anything on her mind and occasionally on mine. To the outside world it was a week off work but to us it was a vacation together.
She'd learned of my likes and dislikes. My willingness to kill and my view on right and wrong, good and evil and even life and death. She learned I didn't blame her for the red she saw on her ledger as if I cared to imagine such a simplistic view, my own ledger would be and ocean that filled the very world, drowning it in blood and perhaps a galaxy or two besides.
She said it was different because I'm a god but I pointed out while we were in the actual bedroom bed. "You're a goddess love. Believe it or not but even by this reality's standards you are a goddess. You may not technically be unkillable but you are immortal thanks to the healing ability I gave you. You'll not age past your prime and stay that way long after this world is dust and it's people are dead."
She was a bit stunned and I chuckled. "That's not including the godlike strength, endurance and speed I've given you."
I sighed and told her. "The suit stopped you from doing the worst and killing kids because I feared how it would affect you, but understand this love, I have wiped out planets, killing billions and trillions in my rage or hunger or even greed. No being is perfect, not even gods. I am a god of nature, I understand the one law that matters."
"Survival of the fittest. I'm not saying don't help those weaker than you, but don't weep for those that get in your way either. They chose their path and you can't stop yours and doubt yourself every time paths cross for the worse on their end. You've chosen a better walk way, but the path, your life, is still yours to choose from going forwards or waiting to be killed off with those who've given up."
She smiled sadly. "I've never looked at it that way."
I shrugged. "Few ever do. Those that have the will, resolve and strength to move past the bumps in the road tend to go far or cross similar people and interesting things happen. That's what the battle of the gods is I believe, a crossroads where even gods must remain firm and tread while their will, strength and resolve are tested."
I kissed her lightly before sighing. "You're Natalia Romanoff, the Black Widow, goddess and my mate. I've seen your resolve, will and strength and you've more than earned each of those names."
She gave me a kiss before riding my face while she found her own form of dominance I wouldn't completely turn on her. That next morning she went back to work more confident and sure of herself and her abilities. She'd had to practice not to break things as her body was denser and stronger once more.
Back in my everyday life on earth it was rather boring. I'd only been missed by Natasha and Tony. The rest of the world hadn't even known I was gone. The companies while under the AI bots had continued to pump out advancements in different fields of technology.
Grim and Associates had become a name of respect around the world as it was synonymous with truth and innocence. If you had a Grim lawyer it meant even the public was on your side now. Grim Defense and Protection had been a booming success as it sold to America and it's allies as well as police forces, firefighters and security companies.
Those caught selling or otherwise doing underhanded deals with Grim tech were all caught almost instantly and turned over to the appropriate authorities. All Shield agents had a set of Grim body armor now and were otherwise protected as their asses were covered in case of everything short of an intercontinental ballistic missile or a head on Jericho missile outside of a vehicle.
Shield had tasked Grim with outfitting something they called the Bus with state of the art armors and protections as well as a personal car from someone called ahem Coulson. I'd laughed and agreed when my AI told me that so Grim set it in motion.
For the next three months I was locked away in a bunker like room where I opened the Darkhold and studied all it's magic's. I cared not for the technological secrets and used my vast will to avoid Hell's influence as well as made a small tethering connection to Chthon.
As I finished the book and felt my own magical powers returned to me, I grinned as I solidified that connection and ripped the elder god out of his realm of K'lay. He was a being of pure energy and as such, couldn't resist against my full power pulling him apart and returning him to energy with no consciousness.
I stored that same energy inside the binding stones before lifting the Darkhold up. It vaguely reminded me of my father's presence and I suspected it was because he'd be the scariest ruler Hell has. I let it go for now and went to put the book away until a flaming skeleton portaled into the room.
It pointed at the book. "Evil!"
I chuckled. "It's influences by Hell itself. Though I just killed the elder god who made it so there's less evil about it now."
It shook it's head and said. "I must take it to Hell."
I rolled my eyes. "Not going to happen, fallen angel or not. I need this book- no wait, no I don't. Here."
I tossed it to the now confused skelelton man. He caught it all the same and looked at me as if deciding whether to judge me evil as well. I didn't really care as I mere angel wasn't even close to me now in power. With my magic unlocked my body thrummed with power now as it was filled with all the magic it had in the last reality I visited as well as what I'd garnered here so far.
My powers varied but most were still inside my mental avatars as I had no use for them at the moment. What I did have was limited to what my body could handle using at once now which basically put me at equal footing with other regular gods. My body wasn't quite at an elder God's level yet so I was still limited but I could now influence nature like Thor and rain down lightning like not tomorrow.
With my powers released mostly I gave the others the modified serum I'd made for Natasha as it could help them grow physically stronger just by training.
I got telepathic message two days after I left my personal training room from Natasha. Shit had gone down and Fury wanted me to join the Avengers initiative and bring my two followers. As they were so closely tied to me, Natasha hadn't told him about Leo and the rest yet.
I made a portal after dropping my glamour and stepped through to her side and she told me. "We're going to get the big guy. Coulson has Stark so we need Banner."
I nodded and teleported us both to Calcutta where Banner was. She did her little plan and had him lured away from the civilians to the outskirts of town. He sighed. "I should've asked for the money up front."
I chuckled, catching his attention. "Probably best to remember that for next time."
He saw my red eyes glowing in the dark corner of the room and said. "Whoever you are, just know this isn't a good idea."
I moved into the light. "I don't see why not. Even your other half isn't much more than a toy for me to play with."
He sighed. "Oh, it's you. What is it you need? I've already completed that weird training stuff with the ancient one."
I chuckled. "She's hardly ancient. Not even ten thousand years old yet and she thinks herself as ancient, really. Anyways, I'm here because my love here asked me to come with and fetch you. Something about a blue block of infinite energy going missing."
He raised an eyebrow. "What do they want me to do, swallow it?"
I shrugged. "I doubt you'd survive that. If the readings are right, I wouldn't survive it either."
That got his attention. "Really?"
I grimaced. "Unfortunately or I might actually have wanted to try it. Even I'm not strong enough yet it seems. The key word being yet of course."
He snorted. "Naturally. So what do they want me for?"
I chuckled. "Really? You'd need to ask?"
He grumbled and finally said. "Ross is still after me."
I smiled. "Ross won't be an issue. If he tries anything I'll eat him, scouts honor."
Natasha asked. "You were a Boy Scout?"
I shrugged. "No but I ate a scout master so it counts."
That had them both gobsmacked now. Banner sighed. "Whatever. Fine, it beats being hunted."
I chuckled. "Then you'll love hanging out with me. Not many have the balls to hunt me and none survive the experience for long. Present company excluded of course."
Natasha's lip quivered with a fraction of a smile before her cold soy training took over. I teleported us to the jet she'd had dropped off and she flew us to her supposedly super secret base which of course, was a helicarrier in the ocean.
I equipped my Dark One armor and symbiote body cloak before hovering low, off the jet while the cloak whisked over the ground. Natasha seemed amused by her telepathic impression while her face showed only seriousness. I wiped Banners mind from remembering my form and we left the quinjet.
With my hoodlike helmet up over my metal one, not even a piece of metal could be seen. My presence changed and radiated coldness and indifference as well as subtle killing intent. I floated passed Steve and the workers as I went to the inside of the ship, floating as I went.
I replaced all the footage Shield had of me with my current form except for a brief glimpse when I'd fought the Hulk. Even Fury only remembered speaking to this form in Japan.
He had a much more serious expression when he saw me this time and I noticed he'd actually taken my advice and had practiced Occlumency and the mind arts quite a bit. I spoke to him coldly. "Impressive to have come so far so quickly. You must've suffered greatly to have built your mental shields so fast."
He grunted. "I did what I needed to do, yeah."
I nodded. "You should've taught your people to do the same, then they could've resisted better before Loki turned them on you. Not that it would've prevented the inevitable in this case."
He asked. "What? Are you saying Loki would win against my shields even now?"
I nodded. "A powerful psychic could break into your mind easily enough, but even they are not as powerful as the staff Loki wields. It has one of the six infinity stones in it, the mind stone. Your so called tesseract, has another, the space stone. Currently there are three infinity stones on earth. Six singularity's created just before the Big Bang that created this reality."
I held up a hand and the bright lights above flickered off as I spoke and showed images of the stones. "Six stones from before the dawn of creation. Made from the body soul and essence of a being so powerful even dead after so long it can revive itself if they are reunited with the seventh, it's stone of self. The master stone."
"Each stone represents a fragment of it's mastery over all of creation. Time, space, mind, reality, soul and power. Each one alone could destroy worlds as countless beings in the past have demonstrated. But together they can change the face of the whole universe, or be used to make another universe entirely. Such is the power of the one they came from."
He asked. "I get the mind and space stone, but what's the other stone on earth?"
I sighed. "The time stone. An order of mystics found it twelve thousand years ago and have been using it's power to protect this planet in secret from threats that would send your worst nightmares fleeing in terror. I suggest you leave it be where it is. They are devoted to their task even now."
He nodded. "Sounds like it's in good hands."
"I agree."
I turned to see Steve and the others. Thinking back, I'd sensed them come in while I was explaining the stones to Fury. Banner asked. "Now that we know what we're looking for and why, I say we get this over with quickly. I don't think I want to even tough these things."
I spoke evenly. "Your green form would survive touching one I'm sure, but most humans would not, al least not directly. Their power is so immense that if any pure human touched them, they'd be reduced to dust. You are very fortunate in that regard as well. The stones all seem to be hidden from the universe now."
"Masked in different prisons and cases, preventing most beings of power from sensing them. If they weren't, this planet would be little more than space dust from the galactic wars fought for the three it now holds. Even the massive mystical barrier the order of mystics made around the planet would not hope to hold out long against all such beings."
Fury asked. "Why aren't you looking for them for yourself if you're so powerful?"
I sighed. "I do not wish to draw that kind of attention to myself as of yet. I have many enemies. Beings beyond your comprehension in both power and shapes. Eldritch horrors from the dawn of time, born from the blackest abyss."
I showed them images of Chthon, the old ones and various other beings I intended on facing. When I finished I told him. "If I went after the stones now, they would sense it and do the same. Trust me when I say you do not want even one ending up in their claws. This world and it's people would be subjected to their whims and none of that is a good thing."
They each shuddered over the very thought before Bruce said. "I'm gonna need some help and I need you to call every lab on the planet to put their spectrometers on the roofs and recalibrate them. We can get started on narrowing down their locations."
I nodded. "The one with the mystics is in Tibet. Don't look closer into that one or they'll be very upset with us all. If it helps, you can use it's similarities to find the tesseract but the mind stone is shielded inside a barrier and won't be found that way unless it's being used exactly when you're looking for it."
They got to work and I had shadow invade Shield's systems to help as well as upgrade their systems.
