I opened my right eye in trepidation as I felt my lower lip start to tremble. To my surprise no crimson leaked from under the bed. 

I let out a breath of relief before jerking out of Don Claro's grasp. I turned to see him still smile despite the situation turning away from his favor. And for some reason this smile seemed more dangerous than the first. His Cheshire-like smile curled as he purred.

"Oh my, oh my. Your hidden lover is quite the flexible lad now isn't he?"

I turned and glared at Don Claro. 

"What are you talking about? There is no blood. Isn't that proof enough that I don't have a hidden lover?"

Don Claro chuckled as he tutted.

"Tsk, tsk my dear. I thought you would be smarter than this."

Confusion filled me as I kept looking from the place under the bed to Don Claro. What in the blazing hell is this man going on about?
