章節 129: Blame

When I turn back around, I see a familiar face. Xander comes to a stop with two of his pack mates and asks "Are you okay, Eris?" I nod and say "I'm fine." I go to walk off but Xander quickly asks "What's happening?"

I lift my arms and say "Can't you see? The Dark Prince from hell is here and setting up shop." Xander looks around in worry as he asks "How the hell did that happen? And who the hell is he?" I feel the air behind me shift, seconds before I hear Enzo say "I thought I heard someone talking about me. Eris, my dear, who are your furry friends?"

I quickly step to the side so that my back is no longer to Enzo as I say "Make it stop Enzo! These are innocent people!" Enzo chuckles and says "Innocent? Look around Eris, none of them are innocent! They have all lied, cheated, stolen, or even killed. The list goes on and on. My demons only bring those traits up to the surface. It only feeds what's already there."
