"Thank you so much for hosting us even when we came without informing," Lillian said, standing at the door of Hal and Lucy's house.
"The pleasure is mine, Lillian." He said, smiling broadly as he held the baby in his hands. Turning to Fawn, he said, "You can come anytime you wish. Even if it is just to hold her for a couple of minutes."
"Thank you, sir." She said, giving him a small bow. "I hope I have not offended you in any way with what I said before. I do intend to try and take care of everyone, though I know that I may fail. I just want you to know that we are not going to just leave everyone and run for the hills."
"I understand. You do not need to apologise ... After all, I was being unreasonable." he then turned to Lillian. "The celebration is going to begin in a couple of days, right? I will talk to Lucy about a stall, maybe."
