"Are they ready to move in?", a man spoke into his telephone, clearly impatient waiting for something, he received what seemed like a favourable response, and smiled, "Good, have her move in as quick as possible, and if able, dealt with the issues as fast as can be, the longer she is there, the easier it will be for them to catch her, and if they do, it's over.", he spoke smoothly, and seemingly in a calm manner, but anyone that saw his pulsing veins and the slight hop on his step, would know that he was anything but calm right now. Baron der Vilkinson, a pale man with a smooth, shiny face, almost always matted with sweat.
Some may call him sleazy, but if he got rid of his sweat problem, and carried himself with some confidence, most would describe him as handsome. As he hung up, he grinned widely, and rubbed his hands together, he was looking forward to his plans coming to fruition…

Selene Harris, as she was called for this particular job, was an assassin for hire. At a medium build, with brunette ringlets and hazel eyes, she was as average as it gets. This was good, average was best. All those fancy hitwomen you saw in movies, were total bull. You had to be able to blend in, and certain things most certainly did not help.
She knew her job, and what it would pay, if it all went well, it would be one of her last. The pay this time was crazy, but then again, so were the risks. She had for it, however, and she knew of some things she could abuse and use to her favour.
As the boat came to shore, she could hear the excited chatter of the crew, they were excited to be getting back to port, and get some rest. She was excited as well, but it was more of a nail-biting excitement, one that consumes you if you are not careful. Selene, as she had convinced herself she would be called for the next few days, thrived within that feeling, however, she revelled and swam in it, but always with her head above the water. It was a way to remain on edge, ready at all times, for any curveballs her job could throw at her.
She got down from the boat when instructed, walking along the plank, showing the appropriate amount of nervousness to fit in, but not enough that would be considered suspicious. It was all for nought, however, as as soon as she went down, it did not stop three security guards asking her to come with them.
Normally, Selene would have ran, the average security was not exactly 'fit'. However, she could see their muscles, and feel their callouses, these were not your typical guards. She had no option, "Of course, is there anything wrong?", "Nothing you should be nervous about, we simply want to do some further checks. I know this may be inconvenient, but I assure you, you will be highly compensated for your time and the inconvenience.", he smiled softly at her, he had clearly been trained to work with 'complicated' clients, so he knew exactly what to say.
'Crazy, these guys are all so well trained, I guess it paid off for them though, but now, I have to try and get away from here, there is no way I can actually complete the job now.'

They lead her into the Tower, and then into one of the underground floors, they then opened the door, and take her into a room with a simple desk, and two chairs facing each other, one already occupied by Ace. He knew about him, hell, who didn't, he was not only internet famous, but also extremely renowned within the upper echelons of society, but also in the underworld groups. He was apparently a genius, or well, it was apparently until he caused the collapse of a conglomerate within days after they had disrespected his family lineage. He had used a blend of methods, and they had been unable to deal with any of them, ultimately falling to their demise.
From then on, people began to take him seriously, they knew that while he was a kid, he was not a 'kid'.
"Hello Maria", she did not even flinch, she knew she was caught, now she had to see if she could get away, "I know why you are here, and also know the person that sent you here, do not worry, I will not kill you, I only need you to do a task for me.", to her widened eyes, he laughed, "Don't worry, it's nothing bad, I just need you to hand this letter in, all the information is within the folder. Please do this within the week.", he gave her the folder, and motioned for the guards to take her, but before they left, he gave her a reminder that would haunt her for the rest of her days, "And also, don't try this again, if I see you again, nothing will save you.", Ace said, a soft smile on his flawless face.
She was promptly led to a jet that would take her home, and all the while, on the trip home, she read through the contents of the folder Ace had given her, committing them all to memory, before handing it over to one of the guards for him to dispose of it.

"Some people really are stupid huh?", his sister said, but Ace shook his head,"Just desperate, dear sister, just desperate.", he walked towards one of the squad leaders of the guards, asking him as to what was the situation with Baron der Vilkinson.
"It has all been dealt with, as you know, sir, he was almost broke, and all he had going for him was his lineage and some popularity, we are tracking the money trail, attempting to find his benefactor, but for now, nothing is coming up.", he said, clearly just as frustrated as he surely thought Ace felt.
Ace, however, was calm, he knew they would not find anything, and that was fine, the more information they had on him, the more Ace could work on his analysis, and find something that would lead them to him or her. Therefore, whilst Ace had expected not to find anything really tangible, it was all good, since every tidbit helped him get closer and closer to the person.
