"Coveted?" Beth chuckled in mockery. "I didn't steal anything. Zach didn't love you. You got married, yes. But that's not love, Sarah. He was trapped in a marriage his parents had arranged."

"Unlike you, I didn't seduce him. He came to me, proposed marriage, and wanted our child."

Beth added in a matter of fact tone. Sarah knew that Beth was just provoking her as she had lost everything. 

"If your claim is correct, then, why is he with me and not with you?" Sarah raised her right brow, the side of her lips tilted into a smirk.

"Hah!" Upon hearing Sarah's taunting remarks, Beth was rendered speechless. All she could do was scoff and scrutinized Sarah from head to toe in disdain.

"Miss Zhou, it's not wrong to fight for my family."

"I'm pregnant and you're taking his father away." Through Beth's gritted teeth, she roared.
