An infuriated Melissa kicked the bed when hours passed after Kevin locked her inside the room and talked not even a word from outside the room. She didn't even know where she was but she had assumed it to be Kevin's home.

She furiously pulled the bedsheet off the bed and wounded it around her hand in sheer frustration.

"Why have you brought me here, Kevin? Why the fuck have you brought me here, dammit!" She yelled, hurling the bedsheet in a corner.

She gritted her teeth, glancing at her colleague's call flashing on her phone for yet another time.

"I swear if this made me lose my job... I ain't gonna leave you, Kevin."

She had just finished mentally murdering Kevin when she heard the door open and Kevin peeking inside as if taking a note of her mood.

She pretended to be calm, swiftly pushing her hand to the vas on the table behind her.

Sensing Melissa visibly calm, Kevin pushed open the door and stepped inside.
