章節 81: It Is WHAT?

Irene skipped verbally reverting to Ilyan, kinda not sure what to really say. Since she barely opened up to anyone with any of her struggles, she seldom got someone appreciating her for everything that she had put up with. She didn't quite expect anyone to do that either but somehow once in a while, it did not hurt to just pause and be proud of oneself for keeping going even when one did not feel like it.

Hearing her unsaid thank you through her smiling eyes, he resumed driving her home and himself to the airport.

While the rest of the ride continued in silence, just a little distance from her home she winced, scratching her thigh.

Ilyan's eyes went to her for a mini second. "What is it?"

"Not sure," she said, shifting aside her white knee-length dress to check. "Eee," her nose scrunched up as her screeched scream caught his attention, "I HATE spiders. Ugh."
