章節 92: Defeating Karen
After the receptionist has done reading the information written in the book loudly. The Karen launched herself forward and snatched the book from her hands and rip the paper apart from the book.
She proceeds to drop the remains of paper and only the book cover to the ground before saying, "It's fake! It's fake! There is nothing like that!"
For some reason, the idiotic receptionist agreed with the Karen and supported her, "Yea, that's fake! You probably wrote that like 5 minutes ago. Guards! Take them out!"
When the guards slowly regaining their composure and courage to kick Arden and his personal guard out. They slowly surround them while making sure they couldn't escape.
Behind the guards, Arden saw the Karen smirking at him and said, "Even though if there is that kind of book, that doesn't apply here because I just destroyed it!"
At this point, the blacksmiths that didn't care about what was happening and focused on their creations began gathering around. Some of them are very short and couldn't see past the guard.
Arden noticed and looked around him and then to his personal guard. When he saw his guard, he could see his veins on his skin and knew it wouldn't end well if he rages around.
"Hey, calm down, this is an order!" The guard calmed down immediately like a bot and just responded to him.
"But sir, she rip the handbook! That is a big crime to do in the blacksmith society itself" Arden looked at the shredded handbook and a thought suddenly popped in his mind.
'The blacksmith around us must've known what is the handbook, perhaps I can anger them by using this Karen only' Arden grinned before making his head closer to the guard and said something.
After he was done telling his guard his plan, his guard suddenly grinned as well and took out the second handbook from his pocket. The Karen placed a surprise Pikachu face as her expression.
She proceeds to do the same thing like what she did to the Receptionist, launcher herself forward and grab the book. The guard didn't do anything to stop her from taking the book and after she took it, Arden's guard makes a fake shocked face before saying.
"Oh no, she took it!" After he said this, the Karen smirk and open the book, then proceed to rip it apart once again.
It seems that Arden's plan actually worked, the blacksmiths around were raged about this knowing it's an act of disrespect against the founder of the blacksmith society himself.
With their muscles gathered from all the hard work as a blacksmith. Most of the blacksmith attacked the Karen and her follower. After seeing this, the guards began helping the Karen and left Arden alone.
The rest of the blacksmith that didn't attack the Karen and saw the guards slowly disappear from Arden and began helping Karen and her follower. They then saw the brown badge Arden was wearing on his waist.
One of them shouted loudly, "Look! He has a brown badge! The highest badge that guard has one too!"
All of the blacksmiths began surrounding Arden and his guard. One by one of them examined the brown badge. This included the one that is attacking Karen, her followers, the guard and the receptionist.
Arden couldn't do anything at this point and just watch them touching his badge and looking at it. When all of this is happening, Karen and his follower began leaving the building.
He saw this and shouted at them, "Look! That woman is leaving! Quick, chase after her!"
The blacksmith surrounding Arden is suddenly gone, and he looked around him to found them. Only to notice they were already surrounding the Karen herself and her follower.
A few minutes passed and all of the ones that supported Karen was tied and sitting on the floor. He began looking through all of them while smiling and just scold them.
Once he was done, the blacksmiths have their turn. Some went as far as to punch them or do something more extreme. That's when he thought to himself, 'Wait, I didn't see the Karen!'
At that time, he was standing beside his guard and watching the blacksmiths scolding the one tied on the ground. He was surprised when he felt something is touching his badge.
He turned around to see the Karen behind him with the brown badges already in her hands, this included the one his guard owns. She began running away from them and stopping after she thought she was already far enough.
He then tied one of the badges with a rope from out of nowhere and just smirked at them before saying, "Everybody! Can I get your attention!? Look at what I have on my west and hand!"
Arden and everyone on that floor looked at her before noticing what she has on her hands and waist. They proceed to look at Arden before noticing the badge he was wearing is missing.
The blacksmiths were about to go berserk seeing this woman dare to steal something that important. However, she was not finished saying what she wanted to say, "Now I have all of your attention…"
The Karen threw the badge at the ground before stomping it with her high heels over and over and just completely destroyed it. After this, she proceeds to tell everyone, "Now, I'm the one with the highest-ranking badge in this building! Kill this man for me!"
She then pointed at Arden and has a smug-looking expression on her face. That's when she was interrupted by the familiar sound of the headmaster, "I'm afraid you are not the only one with that badge!"
Behind the white-haired headmaster, were the 5 other guards Arden saw on the front of the headmaster's office. The headmaster proceeds to went out of their way and the people at that room could see their badges.
Karen looked at it with his eyes widen and just smirked after looking at them, she then proceeds to order them around, "Now, I'm as the brown badge owner as well as you all are, I want all of you to kill this beggar with his accomplices"
She just grinned after seeing this and apparently, she was blind and couldn't see the uniform Arden's guard and the 5 guard wearing was the same.
The five guards approached Arden and kneeled down in front of him before saying, "Sir, if I may ask, where is your brown badge?"
Arden looked at them before pointing at the Karen. They saw the direction he was pointing at and began to stand up and approach her. The blacksmiths went berserk after having enough of her attitude and the way she disrespects the brown badge owner.
They soon joined the guards that the headmaster brought and crushed her in a fight. All of this is happening while Arden and his personal guard were being approached by the headmaster.
The headmaster bow to him before saying, "Sir, Here, I'll give you 3 brown badges, the one is for you sir and the other 2 is for the guard of yours and a compensation of his reserve given to you"
Arden was scratching his head and bowed back at the headmaster before saying, "No, I don't think I deserve it, I even broke the first one I got"
That when the headmaster looked at him with his teary eyes like a 4 years old, "Please sir!!! If not, I will be punished greatly by the great founder of the blacksmith society"
I took Arden sometime to think about it while he is nervously sweating. He finally gave up to the words of the headmaster and said, "Fine, I'll give my thanks to you"
Arden smiled after saying this and the headmaster proceeds to hand out 3 brown badges before turning his body around and making his way toward the stair and what it seems to be his office.
Arden looked at the badges for a few seconds before handing it out to the guard, "Can you help me tie it to my clothes once again, I still didn't know the techniques and you are better to do it!"
The guard smiled before getting on his knee and began tying one of the badges to Arden. After he was done, he proceeds to tie one on his waist and one to his pocket.
While he was tying it, the Karen was already smacked to the ground and the ones beating her seem to have enough. The 5 guards approached Arden once again and knelt in front of him and said, "Sir, we will be taking our leave now, congratulations on getting a personal guard! He will guard you well!"
Arden was confused after hearing this and didn't get the chance to ask about it. The 5 guards went outside the building and just disappear to somewhere.
He looked at them with a wide gap on his mouth, that's when his personal guard tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Sir, it seems that I'm going to be your personal guard for the rest of my life, the founder has gifted me to you! Please take care of me well!"
