章節 23: Huo Ye
Huo Rulie could only smile wearily looking at his dispirited disciple and said while ruffling his hair.
"Don't let it get to you, Mr. Seth just told you his opinion."
Huo Poyun nodded and walked towards his room, seeing his disciple leave he could only pray that his disciple would not break.
Huo Poyun didn't realize it but Seth has helped him. base on Seth's understanding of the kid he has a weak mental strength and easily gets depressed over a loss that's why he said those words earlier. he already held back his words earlier because if he didn't he was 100 percent sure that Huo Poyun would break.
Huo Rulie easily caught up to Seth and couldn't but say "Mr. Seth, I respect you as a profound practitioner but isn't it below you to intentionally harm my disciple?"
Seth looked at Huo Rulie and said in a mocking tone "Harm him? and you still have the nerve to call yourself his master it's no wonder why your precious disciple has such a below average mental strength. now I know the reason why and that is because he has such an incompetent master."
Huo Rulie was angry hearing Seth mock him and tried his best no to blow up.
"What? wanna attack me just because I told you the truth? You are his master and you still don't know what your disciple's weakness is. If you're not a failure of a master then what are you?" Seth finished his speech then left the palace he was really in a foul mood and decided to stay inside the death arc.
While Seth left the palace Huo Rulie has manage to calm down and thought about what Seth said earlier. he already knew his disciple was too proud for his own good and doesn't easily accept his defeat. he hoped that his disciple can manage it all by himself until Seth did what he always wanted to do but hesitated because he was afraid to let his disciple face the harsh truth.
Sighing out loud he made his way towards his son room to check on him because he condition has worsen and his 1000 years of life he that got from finding a valuable treasure is about to end.
"Ye'er how are you feeling?" Huo Rulie asked trying his hardest to smile.
Huo Ye eyes brightened seeing his father entered and said "I'm still fine Father, how about you? I heard there's a powerful senior that came here to help you slay the Ancient Horned Dragon."
Huo Rulie shook his head and said while sitting down beside Huo Ye.
"I think that the master will be leaving because father has offended him earlier."
Huo Ye looked confused and asked "What happened Father?"
Huo Rulie then told him what happened earlier to his son Huo Ye.
"Hmmm, I think that Mr.Seth is right. You should've thanked him instead of getting angry Father." Huo Ye said while looking at Huo Rulie.
"I know, but it is too late now because he has already left and stayed at his profound arc instead."
Huo Ye smiled and said "How about I talk to him instead of you because you really have a bad temper Father which make you a bad negotiator."
Huo Rulie smiled embarrassingly hearing his son berate him.
Nodding his head Huo Rulie said "Okay, I will bring you to him right now."
Huo Ye shook his head and refused "No, let Poyun bring me to him."
Huo Rulie couldn't deny his son and immediately called Huo Poyun and made their way towards Seth's location.
Seth was looking at his family with a smile on his face, It would be a very big lie if he said that he didn't miss them. while thinking about his family back home he saw Huo Poyun carrying a crippled young man and are flying towards his arc.
"What do you want kid?" Seth appeared infront of them and asked with a frown on his face.
Before Huo Poyun could speak Huo Ye has already spoken first.
"Greetings Mr. Seth, I am Huo Ye the son of Huo Rulie. I am here to apologize on behalf of my hot tempered Father please do forgive him for disrespecting you earlier even though you were just helping Huo Poyun to overcome his shortcomings." Huo Ye said while staring at Seth's eyes.
Huo Poyun knowing that it was his time to speak hurriedly said while lowering his head "Thankyou for your teachings earlier Mr. Seth, It is an honor to be able to hear your guidance and I apologize for not realizing your good intentions I really am sorry."
Seth looked at Huo Ye and couldn't help compare him with his own son. (Nah, Red is still better than him in many ways.)
"To think that your Father even brought you here to ask for forgiveness on his behalf." Seth said with a sneer.
"It was my idea to not bring Father here because he really does not have a good public relation skills and easily gets mad that's why I was the one to come here." Huo Ye explained to Seth.
Seth nodded and said with a wave of his hand "I understand, you can go back now."
Huo Ye nodded and said "Thankyou for being benelovent Mr. Seth, we will excuse ourselves then."
Huo Ye then motioned Huo Poyun to leave but the latter wasn't moving and had a hesitant look on his face.
"What are you doing Poyun?" Huo Ye asked with a frown.
Huo Poyun looked at Seth who was flying towards the arc said "Mr. Seth, I know that this is me being shameless but I hope that you could check on Big Brother Ye's condition. He only has less than a month left before he..."
Huo Poyun didn't continue and just stared at Seth.
Huo Ye frowned deeper and said in an angry "Poyun, I didn't tell you to meddle with my personal problem so I hope you better know your limits."
He then turned his attention towards Seth and said in a apologizing tone "I'm really sorry Mr. Seth this kid doesn't know what he is talking about and I hope that Mr. Seth wont be offended with this. We will be taking our leave now please have a good rest."
Huo Ye then glared at Huo Poyun in anger and said in a low voice "Go!"
Huo Poyun could only lower his head and comply, as soon as he was about to return Seth suddenly spoke.
"Bring Huo Ye inside my profound arc so that I can check on his condition." Seth said and entered the arc.
Huo Poyun was ecstatic and immediately flew towards the profound arc not caring about Huo Ye's protest against it.
