Snow thought for a moment and tried to feel everything that had happened and the things he had failed to notice because of his frantic state.

"I could feel pain. Yes, master was in pain but her mind was far gone to even realize anything and then her powers, as if sensing the pain, pulled at the source of the pain to stop it."

"Where?" Snow noticed the panic in Nerissa's voice and looked back into her eyes as he dropped the one news that would nearly make her faint on her.

"Her back." Nerissa's eyes flew open instantly and her brain began to register his words. That could only mean one thing.

"Torture!"

Snow's eyes widened with hers as well. "What?"

"No…" Nerissa broke down and let her tears take control. What kind of torture were they giving to her? She didn't know neither did Snow.
